2010 Summer Season
The photos tell the full story... see your self having cocktails on the deck, frolicking in the pool, biking in the afternoon and coming back for a dip in the pool. Have gatherings in the living room and even lighting a fire on a cool night.
Interior: The furnishings in this home are modern and hip. We are designers and this is our home. This is not a cold investment property with mix and match off-price furniture and bedding. Each room has been intentionally furnished and styled with designer furniture but it is cozy and comfortable and a welcome environment for friends and family.
The "great room" on the upper level is a great space for socializing.
The kitchen is fully stocked with stainless equipment. The 'Open Kitchen' style is conducive to entertaining.
Exterior: The house is set way back from the road so there is a tremendous lawn for playing Frisbee or whiffle ball with friends or the kids. It is adjacent to the pool and can lead to fun pool-side games.
There is a front deck and a back upper deck.
The road is quiet and the house is one block from the water. Bike riding and jogging is beautiful and scenic.
The kayaking is beautiful with swan families and other bird watching.
The harbor is a block away and Sammy's beach is a short bike ride. Sunsets at Sammy's beach cannot be beat!
Location: The house is one block from the harbor, a short ride (or skate) to cedar park and a 3 minute drive to sammy's beach. These are all serene, picturesque water areas that are beautiful at several times of the day. They are never crowded. The ocean beach is in Amagansett which is a 10 minute drive.
The house is centrally located between the "Americana" of Sag Harbor and the "glitz" of East Hampton.

Why the Owner Chose East Hampton
So much can be said about the Hamptons.....and it has something for everyone....
Our house is located in a wooded area yet near the water. For outdoor sports such as kyaking, biking, and hiking, this location is fantastic.
However, we are so close to East Hampton Village that the "glitz" is there too if you want it.
We tend to just hang by the pool and have big dinners with friends.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our property's location near the water is a fantastic bonus. It's so secluded and quiet at the harbor that it washes away the stress of day to day life.
I still can't believe that I own a home near this oasis.

It is such a great retreat from the hectic city.
We are both in the interiors field so we really relish the opportunity to furnish this house.
