Beach Retreat is a true vacation retreat, the open floor plan includes three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and all the comforts of home. Located in one of the Gulf Coasts finest communities, Heritage Shores. It is set up for the ultimate beach vacation with a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor charcoal grill, washer and dryer.
A covered porch on the front to view the Gulf of Mexico, a deck on the rear to watch the ships enter Mobile Bay, and a living room with large couches and chairs for relaxing. The master bedroom has a separate bathroom and a king size bed with a comfortable pillow top mattress for a restful sleep after an active day.
The other bedrooms have a king and a queen bed also with pillow top mattress, they share a bath with separate vanities and a common shower, televisions with satellite service provided in every room. A short walk, three minutes if you don't stop to talk to your neighbor very long, to the white sandy beaches of the Gulf Coast for all the sun and fun in the sand you can stand.
Heritage Shores, a beach side community, is located 15 minutes from Gulf Shores on the Fort Morgan peninsula. The community amenities include two large pools with ample chairs for lounging, a children's pool for the little ones, lighted tennis and basketball court, a gazebo, a screened club house, paved streets with curbs, and private security monitoring.
The community is located close to Fort Morgan State Park, an historic Civil War fort, open to the public for tours, there is also Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge for bird watching and nature trails for walking. It is also short drive to many popular entertainment destinations including golf, water park, zoo, shopping, movie theater, and local restaurants.

We have always enjoyed our family beach vacations each summer. When we vacationed in the Fort Morgan area several years back, we just loved the area. Each year we would return. With my husband being a builder, we decided to build our very own Beach Retreat. We are a very average family that had a dream. We hope that you & your family will enjoy our home as much as we do.

We had a wonderful time! The house is actually much closer to the beach than the picture reveals. There was plenty of space for family members to have their privacy. The little sayings on the walls are an extra special touch reminding you that you are welcome and that you should relax. If we had to name one thing to improve the stay it would be curtains in the master bedroom to block out the light for sleeping in late and napping. Other than that small detail we felt right at home.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children.

What a great vacation spot! This beautiful home made the week even better. Everything was absolutely perfect! Beds slept great, lots of privacy, and the beach was gorgeous! Only suggestion, take your own skillets! or lots of non-stick spray!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
