  "Mi casa es su casa" Debbie said to us as we entered Debbie and Dan's lovely and comfortable home after she had picked us up from the airport for our two week stay. That statement set the tone for Debbie and Dan's easy and generous hospitality during our stay. They were genuinely nice people and incredibly gracious and considerate hosts. We really enjoyed Debbie's delicious breakfasts on their patio with its beautiful view. Debbie and Dan were most helpful with suggestions on restaurants, places to visit, things to do, transportation and, in general,and all things PV. We loved the location- a short walk to Marina Vallarta with all its shops and restaurants. Danny, their friendly little Japanese Chin dog, was a most welcome addition for us pet lovers. We arrived as guests, and left as friends. We can't thank Debbie and Dan enough for helping to make our stay in PV such a wonderful and memorable vacation. We would definitely recommend Puerto Iguana.

  My husband and I stayed for four weeks with Dan and Debbie.We felt very welcomed and comfortable.It was like being with my sister becaust Debbie and I felt we had so much in common. Dan and Debbie are very personable as well as humble and gracious. Excellent breakfasts and nice accommadations. If the oppertunity presents itself we will definitly return, but for sure keep in touch with our new friends.

• What a perfet first experience at a B&B

  We have been travelling to PV for 28 years now and in all of our travels we have never stayed at a B&B. What a delight our experience was here. Captains Debbie and Dan are wonderful hosts and have already become good friends. Our suite was wonderful with a super-comfortable king sized pillow top bed, a nice sitting area with two fully upholstered chairs, a large TV and even a dokc for our iPod. The large walk-through closet had more than enough room for all of our things and there was even a new mini-fridge for our drinks. The bathroom with a wonderful shower and tub had a huge basket with everything any traveler would want. The highlight for us was each breakfast that Debbie prepared for us. From yogurt and lots of fresh fruits, literally gallons of great coffee, french toast, eggs, even our favorite oatmeal, everything was beautifully prepared and presented. Su Case Mi Casa really applied here as we were made to feel so welcome. There is a wonderful private pool within a minute's walk and after the first day we simply hung out in the beautiful covered patio and the back yard. With WFi all over, our electronic contacts allowed us to brag to everyone about the great time we were having. When we walked out the front door we were just steps away from the Marina Malecon and lots of great restaurants from fine dining to casual lunch spots. The busses to downtown PV were just a short walk away and even a supermarket was less than 10 minutes away.. We would recommend this wonderful place to anyone who loves a quiet, friendly home away from home. It's like staying with your favorite relatives.....if you can picture that. We want to be back again next year! We cannot wait!.

  We really enjoyed the stay this year. It was exactly what was needed. As usual we enjoyed visiting Debbie and Dan they always are entertaining and fun to be around. Looking forward to visiting again. See ya in a few months

  My fiancé and I had a very enjoyable eight day stay at Debbie's home. The home is everything described above and Debbie was a very informed and interesting host. I had great times having her tell me of some of her world wide sailing adventures. In the morning Debbie always put together the perfect breakfast for us even including a choice of regular coffee or one of her specialty mocha's. Their home was the perfect location for us as it was on the Marina making all the restaurants, stores and facilities very conveniently located. Debbie also is very informed as she was able to answer all of our questions about the local area. For convenience the buses are only a few minutes walk away and the local cabby's hang out on a street just around the corner so hailing a cab is always very easy to do. We are very much looking forward to staying at Dan and Debbie's again on our next visit to Puerto Vallarta.

  We stayed 3 weeks at Villa Iguana and had an excellent time. Deb and Dan are very interesting people and we enjoyed their company and getting to know them. The villa is centrally located and transportation is easily obtainable. The place is just beautiful and the scenery is awesome. The pool facilities are gorgeous. We are already planning our next trip to Mexico and we will be staying here again. Thanks again Deb and Dan looking forward to seeing you in December.

  My wife and I just stayed with Debbie at her wonderful home. This is an amazing value for those that want a B&B right next to the marina. Debbie picked us up at the bus station (after we took the bus from Guadalajara) and we had a pool, kayak, private bed/bath, breakfast, and great proximity to the marina. Thanks again Debbie.

  I just recently returned from my second visit this year with Debbie and Dan. Their place is everything that is advertised and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Puerto Vallarta. The Marina area is perfect as it is close to the airport, shopping, restaurants, tours, golf and a short bus ride downtown. Debbie and Dan are wonderful hosts and I look forward to many more visits with them. I felt very safe in the area and my hosts offered any information they could to help make my vacation the best it could be. A beautiful home with wonderful friends, I hope just hope someone else doesn’t book my next vacation timeframe :-) Thanks again for everything Debbie!

  This is a comfortable home on the water that offers the company of Dan and Deb who are knowledgable about the area and more then ready to make your stay comfortable. Interesting neighbors abound. A community pool is a short walk away and the marina area with all it offers in the way of shops and restaurants is literally just around the corner. A great place to stay to orient you to Puerto Vallarta. Just like a stay with good friends.

  A charming, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere...the gracious hosts are right on target with local advice and were extremely helpful. We walked everywhere in the Marina, or were minutes away from Old Town via bus or taxi. Would definitely visit Villa Iguana again and recommend it as an alternative to a hotel stay.
