Why the Owner Chose Colorado Springs
We love Old Downtown, and still live in this historic neighborhood. There are endless activities close. You can walk to so much, and driving from there has easy access to all parts of Colorado Springs. Because we lived in this house and there are many extra's that the normal rental does not have. We pride ourselves on attention to details. Come stay and enjoy a bit of Colorado's history.
Owner's Map of Colorado Springs
I have lived here in Colorado Springs since 1980. This is a wonderful town with so much to see and do. We purchased this home for our personal residence and lived there for 12 years. Raising 4 children there we had too many fond memories to turn it into an apartment building or office like so many of the grand old homes of it's era. So now it is in it's glory bringing more memories to other families getting together for family reunions, weddings, business and vacations. Its size makes it great to share, but there are many private areas also. It has been fully renovated and restored and is waiting for you!

This house worked perfectly for our needs. We held an office retreat there for nine of us women. We had adequate sleeping room and used the living area for our meeting. The location was ideal, walking distance to restaurants and the nice park along the river. We were also a short drive from many area attractions. Everything in the house was clean, and the house was well supplied. We would highly recommend this wonderful place!

Wonderful old house with lots of character but all the modern amenities you need. We had 3 families and had plenty of room. Great location close to restaurants and shops downtown and close to interstate to reach all of the springs attractions. My kids loved the kids room filled with games!I personally loved the running/biking trail right behind the house that looked over the creek and had mnt views while I ran. We will definately go back next year!!

We just spent four wonderful days in Colorado Springs at the Majestic Mountain Manor. The house was perfect for our large group of 12, ages 4-75. The large and well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook all of our meals and save money on eating out. We used all of the rooms in the house and never felt cramped in any way. We especially loved sitting on the porch. The location was ideal for walking to the shops and just a short distance to all of the local attractions including Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Manitou Springs, Pikes Peak Cog Railway and the Broadmoor. If you're headed to Colorado Springs, this is the place to stay!

This home is located with easy access to all of Colorado Springs. Dawn has made great effort to provide a relaxing place for any group gathering. We had eight adults and five children and everyone had plenty of space. The kids really enjoyed the porch swings and the kid friendly atmosphere. Majestic Mountain Manor is well equiped and we thoroughly enjoyed our week stay in beautiful Colorado.

This is a cozy, clean home that has been well maintained. It's very spacious and provides privacy for multiple familes to stay comfortably. It is in a convenient location downtown and centrally located near the attractions in Colorado Springs such as Pikes Peak, Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, etc. The owner, Dawn, is very personable. She was helpful in answering our questions and offered suggestions to great restaurants. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

We found this home on-line, read all of the reviews and decided it was perfect for our family. We were very pleased with our find. Everyooone fell in love with the space and the privacy of their own rooms when needed. The kitchen was the most popular place to be. The house was spotless and felt like we were home. Tim & Dawn were very helpful , everything was just as they had said it would be. We had a little rain a couple of days, but we were able to enjoy the porch- swings and game room downstairs. We know we will be back . Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Six of us stayed at Majestic Mountain Manor in May 2011 while on a cycling trip to Colorado Springs. It is a well appointed, clean home in the heart of downtown. The owner was very responsive and made sure that we enjoyed our stay in the house as well as Colorado Springs. She was full of very helpful information regarding activities and dining. I would highly recommend this vacation home.

Our group of 5 included parents, high school son & college age girlfriend and grandparents. Everyone loved this house! We were in CS to attend son's college sport tournament at nearby Colorado College. This is a beautiful big house that caters to everyone's needs. Each room is large and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is big enough to prepare a large meal and the breakfast table became a warm place to visit and play games. The multiple living areas make it easy for people to spread out as they want (college kids downstairs, adults upstairs). The swings on the front porch were perfect for relaxing and visiting. We hosted the college team and parents (~ 30 people) for dinner at this house and everyone was comfortable and commented on how great the house was. We really enjoyed taking the provided bikes on rides to the downtown shops and to Colorado College. The house is lovely, well maintained and the owners great to work with. We made a lasting family memory and will definitely return.

9 friends (all of us from Colorado Springs!) gathered for a time of fun and fellowship. The Majestic Mountain Manor welcomed us with its warmth and beauty. The house was clean and well maintained and Dawn, the hostess, was wonderful to work with. We loved the living areas and the fun of setting fabulous feminine tables in both the dining room and kitchen areas. The weather was beyond perfect in January and allowed us to enjoy the front porch! We were close to home but it felt like we were far away - which was perfect. Much laughter and living was done in our time together. We WILL return!
