This lovely home captures the charm of the old whaling village of Siasconset. We loved our stay in Sconset, the house was gorgeous, the pictures don't do it justice. We loved all the unique details and were very comfortable there. It was very quiet and relaxing and the owners made everything very easy for us. Would come back in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Our stay was most enjoyable on our second anniversary. We had some family come and stay for a few days and there is so much room without being too big. The house has everything that you could possibly imagine and more while being a stones throw to the beach. I will stay again in the future.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway.

We had such a wonderful time in Sconset and a huge part was because of Paddy Go Wack. Be prepared to be whisked away to a long-gone era of quintessential beach living with this rustic and sweet home. We felt like family while we were there!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Nice, large, clean home with great beach character. Convenient location close to the beach and town. The owners were great, friendly and accommodating. Would certainly rent this house again.Recommended for: Families with young children.

My family and I just returned from two glorious weeks at Paddy Go Wack on Nantucket. The house is very welcoming and charming. When we arrived, it was spotlessly clean and exactly how Shelley described it. The location is perfect and the backyard was great for the kids.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

A few friends and I just returned from a long weekend at Paddy Go Wack and we had the most amazing time. The house was clean & welcoming; bedrooms were of good size; the water pressure was just like home; the yard was well maintained; the house was stocked with plates, glasses, towels & linens, blankets, fans, books, beach chairs and beach umbrellas. It's just a short walk from the beach, a park, the market, the package store, the post office and a $2 shuttle into town. Advice: try to catch the shuttles in & out of town as often as you can as cab fares can quickly add up. While on the island, I recommend visiting The Summer House for some drinks while listening to Jaime tickle the piano keys. Also, the fudge at Aunt Leah's in town (near the Hy-line ferry docks) is to die for. Other things we enjoyed during our stay: a few cocktails at Slip 14 and Gazebo, a night of dancing at The Rose and Crown, a trip to Cisco Brewery and playing kadima while at the beach. I definitely would recommend this rental. We hope to make this an annual trip.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Filled with character, and just a short walk to the beach. A truly classic Nantucket beach house. Be aware that the two downstairs bedrooms are both singles, with a shared bathroom. Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with en suite bath, and a separate generous bedroom with its own bathroom. There is also a day bed under some windows which we used for our two-year old with great success. The large eat-in kitchen and separate dining room make meals easy. We had a wonderful time.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers.

Enjoyed our 2 week stay in Sept. '10. Great home, lots of charm, clean, near 'Sconset, Sankaty light, the beach. There is a front porch, a back deck, a closet loaded with beach items. Owner makes sure that you enjoy your visit. We may go back for 3 weeks next fall!!! Enjoy!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This house is a wonderful place for a couple or family. And we bring our dog! It is quintessential Nantucket home which makes you feel welcome. We loved the round dining table for family dinners or large family card games. There is lovely light morning and afternoon.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers.

My parents bought this house for a summer vacation home in 1965. We all have been going there since.
