Why the Owner Chose Southport
This home has been in our family for generations. My great grand parents Cora and Henry bought it and summered here. After Henry's death, Cora rented it out in summers to vacationers to help support her 4 children. Cora's home has passed down in the family to us and eventually to our heirs.
The Unique Benefits of this Guest House
Our quiet, friendly and safe neighborhood is very relaxing. We have many floral and herbal gardens that invite song birds and other wild life. It is not uncommon to see deer, wild turkey, fox, racoons or other critters in the evenings or early mornings. We are walking distance to general store which houses a sizable selection of wines, fresh baked goods as well as groceries. The sand beach is 1/2 mile away and yacht club is about 1 mile.
