The Tamarindo Bay is one of the best in the Guanacaste area, safe for even the youngest swimmers and great for surfing at high tide. Shade trees are abundant and our end of the beach is quiet -- tranquilo! Take your pick for a short walk to happening Tamarindo for restaurants and shopping, or to Langosta for nature.

Also, large Guanacaste trees are located behind Casa Fandango and are home to more monkeys, parrots, and rare but possible, a sloth. Abundant wildlife is a large part of the appeal of this wonderful vacation getaway.

Our pool is a real pool in that it is deep (8 ft.), and therefore cool water awaits you at all times to bring relaxation and respite after a long walk on the beach or sunbathing.

Casablanca is Great!

Casablanca was a fabulous house to stay in during our tropical getaway. The house was in an ideal location- with beach access right across the street and only a quick walk to the town of Tamarindo, with plenty of shops and restaurants (we loved the sat Bar 1!) After a day of exploring the pool was perfect spot to cool off and relax. We knew we were truly in Costa Rica when we stepped out of the house each morning to see baby monkeys in the trees above us! The house was beautifully decorated and well maintained and we felt extremely safe and secluded in the gated compound. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casablanca. Puravida!

Having been my third trip to Costa Rica I can honestly say this was one of my most incredible. Tamarindo has fabulous upscale restaurants that served delicious food and the people " Ticos" were so hospitable. When we stepped into the compound where the Wilkins have their home, it was like we had found paradise. The swimming pool was surrounded by tropical fauna and we met so many friendly and interesting people from all over the world. Words alone cannot express the true ambience of the house; comfortable, well equipped kitchen and the fabulous artwork created by Suzanne Wilkins. Each day was ended with a cool drink on the veranda by the beauty of Costa Rica.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful villa. The setting, the beach, pool everything was just like you descibed it, even better. The gardner, maid and night guard were all very helpful and polite. We hung out half the time at Langosta beach and the other half directly out front on the southern end of Tamarindo beach, so the location was perfect. PERFECT VACATION, and the guest house saved us when we added an extra couple at the last minute. We will be back next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tamarinda / Langosta at Robby and Suzanne’s beautiful home. We have been down twice now and both experiences were incredible. The place has everything anyone could want in a vacation and offers tons to do. • For those wanting pure leisure - Relax on the beach, at the bar across the street or enjoy the quiet private pool out back. The beer and fun in the restaurants is to die for (try out the dragon fly or about five other 5 star restaurants!). • For those wanting to surf head out to the beach or walk up towards Langosta, both incredible places to surf for the beginning to the expert. As a surfer here in Charleston it was great to be able to actually ride a wave for 100s of yards with ease on a long board. I can tell you surfing in a place like this is much easier and much more fun! • For those wanting a little more adventure drive into the mountains to the hot springs of two volcanoes within a two hour drive (experience dense rain forest where the sounds are nothing like you have ever heard in your life). Stay at the base of Arenal and you can actually see the red lava flowing down the mountain! • Head out for long hikes to the forest to see tons of monkeys and unbelievable views. We are certainly heading back as soon as we can. Pura Vida!

We really enjoyed our stay at your house in Tamarindo/Langosta. It was a quick commute to the Liberia Airport to the house on the newly paved highway. The overhead monkey crosswalk bridge over the road next to the house was a nice consideration for the monkeys to keep them out of the road. We took a short ride up the coast to the “Golden Shrimp Restaurant” with beachfront dining. The local seafood was incredible. We ate several times at the “place we got tuna” which is walking distance. We ate breakfast at the hotel buffet across the street and saw the monkey’s that lived on the property. The compound was constantly manicured by the caretakers picking up each and every leaf as it fell from the tree. The pool is perfectly located outside the front door and was a great spot to cool off after each day in the surf. We appreciate your gracious hospitality and can’t wait to get back to Costa Rica.

The location is amazing with easy walk to a breathtaking spot on the beach. The villa was so inviting it was easy to just sit around the pool or on the patio. It had all the comforts one needs and then some. I loved the town as it had such a lively atmosphere. I did not want to leave, but when I did I was already planning my next trip back.

I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed staying at your house in Tamarindo. I have traveled all over Costa Rica and stayed at various places, but none as nice, quiet, beautiful, and secure as yours. A short walk across the beach, with a restaurant on the beach, that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the food is fabulous. Even though there is so much to do in Costa Rica and in Tamarindo I am perfectly content laying on the beach, or laying by your pool than going anywhere. Your house is always tastefully decorated, air conditioned, and surrounded by a security gate and security guard that keeps you feeling comfortable during your stay. Magnificent sunsets while cooking on the outdoor cooking area by the pool tops it off. Oh yeah, I forgot about the balcony on the second floor. When you walk outside its like walking into the stars. This is the perfect location and place for me. I will definitely be back.
