Welcome to Abode Ashore. This spacious and well appointed home offers a warm welcome to all land lovers. Located only two lots back from the beach, entertainment options abound for the entire family.

A convenient all-weather under house entry accesses the first level where you’ll find a game room complete with pool table, wet bar with refrigerator, TV/VCR, stereo, laundry room, and powder room.

Up one flight and you’ll find one master suite with king size bed and private bath, one room with king size bed and shared bath with an adjoining double twin room, and one double bunk room with private bath. Each room has a color cable TV, TV and VCR, or TV and DVD. Access to the shaded Oceanside deck and private hot tub can be gained here as well.

The top floor, with vaulted ceilings, opens to the spacious great room with large TV/DVD/VCR and stereo system with outdoor speakers, the dining area with seating for 10, and the well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. The third level also offers a master suite with queen size bed, private 2-person Jacuzzi tub and shower. The large furnished sundeck, sound side balcony, and screened porch with seating complete this level.

Nearby, you’ll find surf fishing, sightseeing, biking, restaurants, shopping, wind/water sports, and much more. Or, take a short trip to local landmarks or other islands. Appreciate the sunrises over the ocean or relish in the sunsets over the sound from the comfort of your deck chair. Whatever your pleasure, Abode Ashore is your ticket to coastal relaxation.

  • We have stayed here several times and highly recommend it. The house is beautifully furnished, comfortable and offers many great amenities (our favorite is the outdoor hot tub on the second-level deck). Great views from the upper-level deck and only a short walk to the beach. For those who want a break from the beach, there are many local places of interest to check out (i.e., lighthouses, Manteo, Wright Bros. museum/monument, sand dunes, restaurants, etc.)

  • I was down the weekend of Oct 23-25. The house is beautiful and is just a hop, skip, jump from the water. I would recommend this home as a beach rental to my friends/family as it had everything you would need.
