This house is very beautiful! We walked into a breathtaking custom home! We are in our 1st full day and feel like we are in our own home. Very peaceful neighborhood. We were unsure the time of the year we picked to come, but we couldn't of picked a better time to visit Destin, FL. We would highly recommend this cottage. We will be back!

I just returned home from a stay at "As Good As It Gets". This is the most relaxing beach residence I have ever stayed in. Words cannot describe how beautiful and comfortable it is inside!!! The A/C works awesome and all of the appliances are terrific. The kitchen is pretty well stocked for cooking too. I can't wait to go back!!! :)

We had a wonderful stay at As Good As It Gets! It was our first real family vacation with our 2 boys (4 and 2) and they loved the swimming pool! They also loved being able to play on the back porch and I loved that they could do that and I could still keep an eye on them. The house was beautiful! It was truly paradise. We loved that it was always so cool inside when coming in from the Florida summer heat. We did have a few housekeeping issues but they were corrected. I definitely would recommend it to anyone and we hope to come back next year and make it a family tradition!!

We just got back from our vacation and this cottage is great! It looks even better than the pictures. My mother-in-law and I took pictures so someday maybe we can decorate a place like this! The beach is beautiful, crystal clear and white sands. We went to Pompano Joe's and Harbor Docks, both were very good. We also liked being able to cook at the cottage. My boys loved it and we hope to return next year. It was a wonderful vacation!!!

What a lovely home! This is the first time we've ever rented a house unseen, and we were very pleased. The house is gorgeous. The high ceilings were unexpected and made it seem very large. We also just loved the area. Super close to pool and ocean..... I have been to many beaches around the world and Destin is at the very top, if not the most beautiful, beach I've ever been to! If you plan to really "live" there bring your own beach towels, laundry soap, dish soap (there was dishwashing detergent), salt/pepper, sugar....otherwise the kitchen is very well stocked! The beds were super comfortable and there is a tv in every room. This made the men/boys very happy. We took the advice of other reviewers and went to Sexton's Fish Market and bought 3 pounds of shrimp! Yum! We also really enjoyed Sandestin and Destin Commons for shopping and restaurants. We caved and went to a touristy restaurant, Pomapano Joes right on the water, and I thought it was good, the Key Lime Pie was great! We will certainly be looking forward to our next time at this cottage, unless we buy our own place! LOL!
Owner response:I love it when they love it!

My husband and I rented "As Good As It Gets" from March 5, 2011 thru March 12, 2011. We did leave one day early, but it wasn't because of the cottage. The pictures doesn't do the cottage or area justice. The cottage was very clean and well maintained, also had awesome amenities. I wish the weather had been warmer during our stay (but that' a chance you take on any vacation). Beautiful pool, just steps from cottage..Beautiful white sand on the beach and blue/green waters.Very relaxing screened-in porch..(wish it had a patio dining table & chairs..to enjoy the outdoors even more) So many excellent restaurants, but 2 of our favorites...AJ's Seafood..and McGuire's Irish Pub are a must to eat at, while your in Destin. If you want to cook at the cottage...go to Sexton's Seafood...good fresh seafood! The owner was VERY helpful, answering all our questions, even shared their favorite places to eat and shop while we was there. I hope we will be able to return for another vacation sometime. I would highly recommend this rental to family and/or friends. or anyone else that is looking for a high quality place to rent. Beautiful cottage...Beautiful area....WONDERFUL memories!! Thanks again!!

We had the most wonderful vacation ever!!!! The house was perfect. The pool is right outside the back door and the beach is super close. The only complaint I have is the house wasn't super clean when we arrived. I did call the company and they came the very next day and cleaned for us. We actually wanted to extend our stay but the house was already rented. Highly recommend!!!!!
Owner response:First time I have had a housekeeping complaint but I have checked with cleaning company to make sure this is corrected. We have gone to great lengths to make sure the home is beautiful and fully equipped - no need to lessen the enjoyment of our guests by the place not being clean.

I am verly late with this review. My twin, my daughter, my niece and myself stayed at the property in September 2010. The house was soooo adorable and extremely spacious. We loved the fact we could walk to the beach. Everything was extremely accessible. Even the outlet! :-) Our only complaint would have been the funiture out in the covered sunroom. It just needed to be vaccuumed but aside from that the house and the trip was great.
Owner response:Glad it was enjoyed! It is hard to keep outdoor furniture clean. This is on a screened porch, not an enclosed sunroom so where the wind blows, dust goes. I am somewhat shocked that this guest would drop a star for dust on the outdoor furniture. As you can tell by the other reviews, my guests are amazed at the beauty of the cottage and its decor. She did contact me to try to book another stay this year but her desired dates were not available.

Our family rented the cottage for one week in July. It was so much nicer than even the photos or description portrayed. There were 6 of us in the family. Four adults and 2 children. The home was so perfect and well stocked. There was not anything more we could have asked for except to spend another month there. We hope to go again next summer and many there after. Our grandkids begged us to to buy one just like it for a family vacation home. Thank you for such a wonderful vacation full of memories.
Owner response:I love it when my guests have a great time!

The home is beautiful and very welcoming. We enjoyed staying here more than any other place we have stayed, bar none. It is very well situated, close to everything and steps from the beach. The only problem was we didn't get to stay long enough. We definitely plan to stay here again. It very much lives up to its' name; "As Good As It Gets".

The pictures do not do justice. This cottage was so beautiful. Looked like a magazine. We expected it to be nice but WOW! The pool is right behind the house and the walk to the beach is very short. We will definitely rent this cottage again.

This rental property is adorable. It definitely beats the high-rise condos. It is two short blocks from the beach and backs up to the community pool. The location is perfect - near the outlet, grocery stores, restaurants. Sandcastle management makes check-in effortless. We will definitely rent this house again.
Owner response:Sandcastle collects the funds. Rentals should be made by contacting the owner, Barbara at 615-456-4561 or contacting on property page via e-mail. Thanks for following this protocol to make your booking easy.
