Puerto Rico one of the best places to get away to, the people are amazing, friendly, and fun all around. My kids and I have stayed at this location three times in the past years, we absolutely love the location, the beach, the restaurants, the atmosphere is just wonderful. This apartment is so cozy, clean, has a beautiful view, the personnel at the front in the lobby are very helpful and friendly. Even if you are not a beach person you do not have to go that far to soak in the sun, the pool is clean and refreshing with the hot tub to relax. I would recommend this place to anyone any time, you will enjoy every moment of it I guarantee it. And what make it the best is the owners, Rolman and Rupert, two wonderful and considerate individuals who are easy to deal with in regards to any questions regarding to the rental and the neighborhood. I also recommend the pizzeria at the corner Denis (the puerto rican pizza to die for) and my favorite restaurant El Jibarito in Old San Juan in Calle Del Sol. If you are feeling blue don’t hesitate to book a ticket and go to Puerto Rico and have the best time of your life.

Great apartment in great location!

My boyfriend and I just returned from San Juan last night. We stayed at this apartment with our two Chihuahuas for 9 days. The apartment is in a nicely maintained building with 24 hour security guards, gym and an amazing swimming pool that no one seems to use. The location was absolutely perfect. It is within walking distance from pretty much everything, the beach, supermarket, Walgreens and restaurants. But, we rented a car at the airport for our entire stay, as we usually do when we come to Puerto Rico. It is certainly cheaper than cabs to get around San Juan area. The security staff recommended that we park in the garage next to Starbucks. But, unfortunately, they only had hourly rates, which can add up if you park overnight every day. So, we went to the Marriot Hotel across from the apartment and they let us park for $18 a day. This worked out great. The apartment is very nicely decorated, just like in pictures. It has the full kitchen. So, we made breakfast every morning. Bed is queen size and was very comfortable. The apartment also had balcony with a great view. We usually stay in hotels when we travel. But, we truly enjoyed our stay at Rolman and Ruperto's with equal facilities as the first class hotels. We would definitely like to come back when we return to San Juan. Some of the restaurants that we enjoyed: Pikayo - Located at the Conrad Condado Plaza. It is a bit far but within walking distance from the apartment. This has been one of our favorite restaurants for years. Amazing service. Budatai - Also within walking distance. Creative Asian food. Marmalade - Located in Old San Juan. You need a car or take a taxi for this one. But, amazing decor and food. We always visit at least once when we come to San Juan. This time, we went back twice. The above restaurants are pricey. But we highly recommend that you try one of these places if you have a chance. We usually go to Aguaviva in Old San Juan, typical tourist spot. But, we were quite disappointed with the food, considering the price that they charge. This is coming off our list. We also went to JAM on Magdelena, also very close to the apartment. They had amazing star fruit salads although entree was ok. Next time, we will go for lunch only for their salads. Well, finally, Rolman and Ruperto, thank you for making our vacation very special. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Hola, Hace un par de semanas estuve en Puerto Rico Vivo en la Ciudad de México y fui, por primera vez a Puerto Rico, con mis amigos la verdad fue una experiencia “padrísima” , El apartamento donde me quede estuvo muy cómodo, súper limpio, y además la vista del balcón al océano fue hermosa. En el apartamento cuenta con todo lo necesario que debe tener cualquier casa para cumplir con todo lo necesario como una cocina, sala y una cama súper cómoda ideal para dos personas. El baño cuenta con una tina muy amplia para poder darse un baño relajante. Y déjeme contarles que la alberca es muy hermosa con jacuzzi y todo bien iluminada con un hermoso juego de luces de colores que cambian como un disco donde te la puedes seguir con unos buenos tragos. Hay un GYM para continuar el ejercicio yo no sentirte culpable por no hacer tu rutina diaria. En cuanto la ubicaron donde esta localizado el apartamento esta ubicada en una de las mejores zonas de San Juan; si no la mejor. Muy cerca de varias tiendas de alta clase, farmacias, restaurantes, casinos, y súper mercado etc. Y lo mejor de todo es que la play esta tan solo a una cuadra lo cual es fenomenal. Para finalizar, mil gracias por hace que nuestra estadía de visitar Puerto Rico sea agradable por lo cual recomiendo con los ojos cerrado que no te arrepentirás en visitar Puerto Rico y que darte en este apartamento. Los precios muy económicos y con una atención de súper primera como dicen por ahí muy “ trendy”

My boyfriend & I just got back from our stay at Rolman & Ruperto's rental. We loved it! The location was great! We were steps away from many restaurants & even took advantage of some of the local hotels ameninities! Cab rides to Old San Juan and other parts of San Juan were about $14/each way which can get expensive. We ended up renting a car next door at Charlie's Rental for $50 for the day. It was worth it to drive around and see other parts of Puerto Rico! The rental was very clean & the view was beautiful. Rolman & Ruperto were very helpful and easily accessible for any questions or concerns. The attendants in the lobby were also very friendly. We highly recommend this rental!

Great price for a fabulous location

We really enjoyed our stay at Condado beach. The condo was easy to find, the security staff was friendly and helpful as were the residents, and the studio was as described. It was nice to be in a tourist area without being at a resort surrounded by tourists. We had the pool all to ourselves most days, which would never happen at a typical hotel. At the same time, we were right across the street from the Marriott and could take advantage of their casino as well as the beachfront (note that they only rent chairs and umbrellas to guests, however). The condo was quiet, however there was quite a bit of street noise at night, particularly on the weekend. If you are a light sleeper you may need earplugs or white noise. The best part about staying here was the wide variety of excellent restaurants within walking distance. Some of our favorites included: Cafe Orozco- Exit the building to the left and go a couple blocks. Great cheap breakfast/sandwich menu. Yerba Buena - Exit to the right one block. Try the pumpkin fritters. Pamelas - Exit to the right and walk about 20 minutes. Get a table on the beach and enjoy a romantic view. Via Appia - 2 doors down from Yerba Buena. Great Italian-style pizza. Exit the building to the right and go about 3 blocks to the EOS market for food, drink, and supplies. There is a Starbucks to the left, and there are Walgreens in either direction. There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby (get the WPA code from the security desk or 2nd floor admin office) and we were even able to get the signal in the unit. There is no microwave in the unit but there is one on the 2nd floor (as well as vending machines, a fitness center, and laundromat). All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the owner was extremely helpful throughout. Thanks for everything!

Since the apartment is in a tourist area, it can get busy late at night on Saturdays, but not all the time. We sometimes sleep with the windows open to enjoy the breeze. But on those nights we close every window and put the A/C on and sleep very comfortable. There is no microwave, but there is a small toaster oven.

Beautiful & well located apartment in PR

During the month of Aug, 2009 my husband and I went to Puerto Rico. We stayed at this studio apartment. The Apartment is in a great location in Condado, San Juan. The Building is in good condition and it has a pretty lobby. There are security guards 24 hours each day. Also, there is a pool and GYM. About the apartment, even though it is a studio apartment, it feels quite comfortable and very spacious. In the kitchen you can find the necessary utensils to cook. The bed is queen size, and very comfortable with nice linen. In the Living room you can find a sofa that you can turn into a bed. Definitely, if I have the opportunity to come back to Puerto Rico I will stay in this apartment given the fact that it is nice, beautiful, and located in a good neighborhood close to the beach.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+.

Anyone who is looking for a fun, cozy, & safe place to spend on a vacation this is the place. We enjoyed the stay at the condo and the hospitality that you have to offer. Everyone was so nice with us and the security help with offering some suggestions in the places that we could visit. If you are up to some fine latin food you will find near by a restaurant called 'Yerba Buena' the place we really enjoy the food, and there comfy moving tables. Beaches are one block away so we were there everyday. You would love the condo...we did. Rolman & Ruberto thank you for everything.

Romantic Getaway

My boyfriend and I recently visited san juan puerto rico for a small family reunion and also for romance/relaxation. We had the pleasure of staying in this condo and were already looking forward to going back. Rolman was such a pleasure to work with. We frequently stay at vacation rentals when we travel and I must say this has been the most pleasant. Rolman was quick with email response and didn't mind me calling. Very helpful in everyway and we even received our rental deposit less than a week of our return (most owners may hold it for 15 to 30 days). The security staff at the condo were so helpful and extremely welcoming. The condo has the most amazing view of the ocean ( breath taking in person ) and the location is absolutely amazing. We were less than a block away from the beach and great food was less than 5 min away. When we didn't want to go to the beach, we went downstairs to the pool/jacuzzi area that the condo offered. Beach chairs were supplied and the surrounding buildings and trees offer a great shade and breeze. Food Reccomendations: Orozco's- right next door to Walgreens less than a block away. Their food was great. The calamari was the best I have ever tasted. Their breakfast was good as well and very cheap. Aside from their slow and relaxed service ( 15 -18 % tip is automatically included at all restaurants in pr ) their food is really good. Latin Star- right next door to Orozco's. They had great food as well and great service. On our last night there we dined at this new italian restaurant called IL Postino - right around the corner from walgreens. This was my favorite restaurant. Everyones dish was well made and tasted exceptional. If you love pizza they make it right in front of you. Service was great and decor is soothing. My only dissappointment was that we had not found it sooner. Oh and might I add the prices were very reasonable. Loves it. All and all we had a wonderful time on our trip and it is greatly due to our decison on staying in this condo. Future renters will not be dissappointed.

Dear Ruperto and Rolman, Your condominium was absolutely perfect. It was very romantic and we actually became engaged in your home!!!! Every morning I sat on the deck and drank my coffee and watched the ocean and the streets of Condado. I could have sat there all day long as it was so peaceful and enjoyable. I heard none of the neighbors ever and the staff at the facility were so helpful and pleasant. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have been on in a long time. Your home was so convenient to everything. The surrounding restaurants and shops were also amazing. We will definitely be going back to stay in your home very soon. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!!!!

Fun Adventure!!

As a native to the island but living in Florida for years I decided to stay in El Condado area. During my arrival and stay everyone in the building made me feel welcome. Rolman one of the owners was very attentive and friendly with all details of the property. The unit is equiped with kithchen and all basic things you may need. Upon my arrival everything was cleaned and in its place. I met some of the neighbours while comimng in & out of the building. They all are very nice and lovely people- very helpfull when asking for dirrections. The building is clean, secured and with a terrific view. It is right across from the Marriot Hotel, near by Walgreens, restaurants, car rental, Starbucks and so many things to do including the beach. The local magazine called "Que Pasa" is very informative with maps and places to go. I felt like home when watching the news and weather channels. My laptop wireless card has never worked better from this 10th floor unit. I was able to cook most of my meals and some other days eat out of the near by restaurants. Great food! If you ever visit San Juan please eat at 315 Precinto Sur "Raices Rest." the food is excellent. By the way, if you rent a vehicle, make sure you take the GPS device. It is a life saver and you will never be lost in Puerto Rico. Use it even if you are walking! This is how I found the near by market. My experience was great and felt very secured at all times. I will defenetly go back again.

perfect accomodations in Condado

I took my son for his first trip to Puerto Rico and wanted to be in Condado where we could access the beach, restaurants, entertainment and close to Old San Juan. When I take him again to San Juan we will defitely stay here. This condo was perfect. It was clean, well maintained, comfortable and exactly what the pics show, but to actually be there is even better! Having the full kitchen is great so you can make breakfasts and lunches and heat up leftovers in the stove. I would make coffee and take it to the balcony and read my book every morning. The TV had plenty of stations to keep a 13 year old entertained while in the room. The beach is so close we only went to the pool once but it is convenient and there is a jacuzzi too. The lobby is very nice and has free internet (however in the condo surprisingly I kept automatically connecting to the Marriots and could get email and IM but not browse internet). The security guards are as friendly as could be and very helpful if you are looking for anything. Starbucks is also next door for a frozen drink or lemonade on the way to the beach. Recommendations: Beach: When going to the ocean take a left out of the building and at the lights at Walgreens go across the street to the beach. Right there you can rent chairs. Make sure to have the slushies too when they come by with the cart; passion fruit and coconut were both great. Breakfast/lunch: Orozco's (tell Raul I say hello) which is 2 blocks to the left on the same side of the street. For like $3 you get 2 eggs, toast, sausage or ham and 3 mini pancakes! They have yummy rice and chicken too and you MUST try their own hot sauce, I bought a bottle to bring home. For our 5 day stay we ate there 4 times! They had the best chicken alfredo I have ever tasted, ever, too, it is my sons favorite dish and we all most licked the plate clean it was so great and fresh and cheesy! My son orders this everywhere and I am serious this was the BEST EVER. Sushi - if you like sushi at all you MUST go to Wasabi one block to the right on same side of street. Was so incredible we ate over $100 of sushi for 2 people! I think my son ordered like 8 rolls by the end. The sake sangria was really good too Old San Juan: Fortresses both El Morro and San Cristobel - just walking around the whole city - then for food (and pina colada's) Barachina's. AMAZING!!!! My son and I both got fish (salmon and snapper) with the rice and beans.

The condo was absolutely perfect. It is nice and clean, fully equipped kitchen, pool and also free internet in the ground floor. It is located almost in the centre of condado and beach is just 5 minutes walk away. The owners are very friendy and helpful. I would reccommend it to everyone who would like to have problemfree vacation.

Upon arrival, it was just as described in words and photos. It is cozy and very comfortable. Wake up and sit out on patio to relax or just enjoy a beautiful view. Beach is literally up the block. Waves were very strong, but sun and weather make up for the powerful waves. Just don't go all the way in and you should be good. Plenty of choices in restaurants to choose and there is a store where you can by food to cook as I did! I highly recommend a stay here and you will not be disappointed. Only thing to watch out for is a man saying he is a tourist and was beaten up by police...very convincing. Car rentals are very close or you can take the bus(free until elections in Puerto Rico occur) to Old San Juan and enjoy that area as well. Definitely a must to stay here if you want to be in comfort of your "home"

My weekend getaway

The place was exactly what I expected from the pictures on the webpage. I woke up in the morning and had my coffee on the balcony and just enjoyed the sun and beautiful ocean view. I couldn't wait to get my bathing suit on and head for the beach. Making it even more convient, in the apartment they had a beach chair and cooler to pack a lunch and take with you. Also, some toys if you have kids for them to play in the sand. As well as brochores and books for things to do and see in San Juan. The location couldn't have been better. Right up the block from the Marriot, which has an awesome casino and bands playing music almost every night at the bar. Great restaurants to choose from, I particularly liked Cafe Bebo's which is about 8blocks away. Overall it was worth the time and money to go back again someday soon.

My husband and I chose to stay at this cozy condo for out 17th anniversary. It was just what we needed, in the heart of Condado. Close to everything, or just a bus ride away. The view from the balcony was great and comfortablte to relax on. Every restaurant we ate in had absolutely delicious food. The store just down the street had everything you could think of to fill up the fridge or snack on. Last but not least, one of the owners, (Rolman) was just terrific trying to accommodate us when I wasn't sure of our exact dates in Puerto Rico. I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to stay at a place that's a bit more intimate than a hotel. P.S. The front desk and security are very helpful if you have any questions. P.S.S. Next time we're coming back with our 2 children.

Great Condo , Great Location

We were here for 10 days and had a great time. The apartment is in a great location, bus stop across the street, good local restaurants very close by, plus Starbucks. Apartment is clean and tidy - lots of hot water/great water pressure. Beach is just one block away to the west or you can walk a little further east and there is a wonderful beach with umbrella / chair rentals. We rented a car and toured more of the island - Liquillo Beach, the Rain Forest (spent two days hiking) and ventured out to the island of Vieques. The security guards were very helpful as were the owners.

This condo is the perfect place to stay in Puerto Rico...with all the clubs and restaurants out the front door and the best: the beautiful beach just 5 min walking distance. It was so much nicer than we expected for the price! We had 4 adults stay and it did not feel crowded at all. The communication with the owner was great and he is very helpful and friendly. I will come back again soon.

Phenomonal & Exquisite

Only 3 minutes walk to the hottest name brand shopping districts, the finest in Latin cuisine, and perhaps one of the cleanest beaches around. The spacious living room and fully equipped luxury kitchen are sure to please even the most particular. Busses to the mall and San Juan stop right in front of the building. Helpful yet courteous security, plus in-house laundry and swimming pool make this the right family choice! Overall: highly recommended!

It is a gorgeous place!!! Clean, well equipped, comfortable, excellent location on the Condado area, since everything is within walking distance and the security personnel of the building are really helpful. This studio it is just so romantic and beautiful...I spent the best days of my life in that place, as a matter of fact I think I fell in love in that place. The transaction for renting the apartment was really smooth and the owners are very cooperative. I'm definitely recommending and staying in this place again!!!

Very nice apartment, very clean and close to everything. Buses to go anywhere , taxi, casinos, nice city view, the building has a great pool and very clean. The security people are very friendly. The building has Gym, Laundry and many more features. I really recommend it. oh I forgot the owner is so friendly

The apartment was great! Four of us stayed there and we had plenty of room. The view is nice and it's only about a 5 minute walk from the beach. Only thing that it does not have is a microwave. Bed and futon very comfortable. Owner was in town and very helpful in navigating the area. Short bus ride to Old San Juan. Would definitely recommend.

tuvimos la opurtunidad de visitar Puerto Rico. y al mismo tiempo tuvimos la buena suerte de hospedarnos en unos de los mejores suites en condado, San Juan, con unas de las espectaculares vistas a las playas, centros de actracciones y esquisitas restaurantes. Pero lo que mas disfrutamos era le limpieza y la seguridad del apartmento/edificio con un linda piscina y facil estacionamiento en la area. le damos muchas gracias a la personas que nos recomendaron este lugar y al mismo tiempo recomiendo este apartamento a la personas que esten interesada en visitar SanJuan, Puerto Rico.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Room was very good. Very nice set up and great customer service. Everything worked out really well. I definitely recommend this room to anyone visiting San Juan.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I and two friends stayed in this studio for 4 days and it was very comfortable. I love the way is decorated. It is very clean. The view is phenomenal. Is close to the beach, night life, many restaurants and a short cab ride to Old San Juan. I recommend this studio highly. Is well kept and is in an excellent location. I will rent this studio the next time I travel to San Juan.

Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
