Main cottage in winter - Ontario Travel This is a beautiful, unique, hand-crafted log cottage, on Puzzle Lake in a pristine wilderness setting, in Eastern Ontario. The cottage property is 20-acres, with 1000 feet of shoreline. The landscape is Canadian Shield - with white pine and oak forest, and pink granite rock. The swimming, canoing, kayaking and fishing are excellent in this clean, quiet lake. The lake is approximately two miles in length. Wildlife abounds, with heron, ducks, loons and deer. It is conveniently located - less than two hours drive from Ottawa, three hours from Toronto, and one hour from Kingston. It is 20 minutes south of Arden (on Highway 7), or 45 minutes north of Highway 401 (at Camden East exit.) With a stunning view, the cottage overlooks the lake, from its elevated setting, fifty feet from the water. The cottage is 2000 square-feet, with a 400 Sq/Ft. screened-in porch across the front of the cottage. It has an open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen separated by a work island. There are three bedrooms downstairs. The master bedroom has three large windows overlooking the lake, and a queen-sized bed. The second bedroom has a double bed, and the third bedroom has two bunk beds and is very spacious. All bedrooms have ample closet and dresser space. There is a four-piece bathroom, with a large comfortable bathtub, with shower. The upstairs is a large loft, with a double bed, overlooking the living room. With 19 windows and two French doors, the cottage provides plenty of natural light and views. There is a screened-in gazebo, on the pine point, near the edge of the water. This is a very peaceful space. The master bedroom has one queen bed, a dresser, closet, three large windows, and a view of lake. The second bedroom has a double bed, dresser, closet, and one large window. The third bedroom has two bunk beds including a double/single bunk, a dresser, closet and two large windows. There is also an open loft with a double bed and couch. Waterfront: Fifty feet back from rocky beach on Puzzle Lake. Number of bedrooms: 4, sleeps 10 Number of bathrooms: 1 Appliances and furnishings: oven, refrigerator, electric heating, four-piece bathroom, pots and pans, dishes, stand-alone stereo (five-disc, tape, tuner, two large speakers), kayak, canoe, paddles, raft, 100 square foot gazebo. Towels and linens are included.
