I had stayed in the Victorian before, but this unit was by far more complete and equipped with everything you need. It was spacious and the comfortable. The unit faces the ocean and the bed on the porch serves as a great place to unwind. The workers on the property are very friendly and accommodating. The Victorian is in a great location with many restaurants, bars and a great supermarket within a 3 minute drive. Overall, a great time!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I very much enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Victorian. Your view from the dining area/living room is of the ocean and your soundtrack is of waves crashing. Nestled about a 15 min walk from the center of Cabarete it is quiet and calming in the area. You can choose to walk either the street or the beach into the tourist area. The condo was super clean, brand new and has 24 hr. security. For down time it was nice to have full cable TV, ipod speakers and a folder full of ideas of what to do! (take the coco tour with Cabarete Coffee Company) The pictures are up to date and well represent the condo. The management company was attentive and available if anything was needed. The full kitchen made it easy to eat breakfast and lunch in after some grocery shopping at Janet's the nearby market. Overall, a perfect place to stay while in the area.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

For my first visit to Cabarete I lucked out on the accommodation - the Victorian beachfront condo is adorable with a beautiful view. Provided everything I needed - clean pool, spacious closet, sheets, towels, hairdryer, coffee maker, wifi, tv, etc. Peaceful surrounding and felt safe. Bed was made and condo cleaned everyday with friendly staff and neighbors. My favorite thing to do was the walk along the beach to get to center of town for lunch on the beach. I highly recommend this place and will definitely book it again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

It was my first time to DR and we had a BLAST during new year's eve! The town has so much to offer and nightlife is a big scene. The condo is very close to the center, about 2-3 mins by car, so its not in the middle of the chaos...so very relaxing. We walked along the beach into town. The Victorian is a brand new complex so everything is still new and modern looking. Our condo was very comfortable with a bohemian decor including a wrap around cushion sofa and a very big califorian queen bed. All the neighbors were super friendly. Its a great place to relax and unwind, then head to town for some fun and great caribbean food. La Casita de Papy is a must, but you need reservations and be prepared to wait for your food...island life customer service, but worth the wait!Did you find this review helpful? We stayed at the Victorian for a month in August and had a great time! It is conveniently located a short distance from the hustle of Cabarete. The apartment , beach, pool and grounds were clean and well maintained. I would definitely rent the unit again should it be available.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Why the Owner Chose Cabarete:
After looking through properties in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, I settled in the Dominican Republic for its warm welcoming feeling. The people are always happy. The moment they hear music, they want to dance. Cabarete is on the north shore, a little surf town also filled with Europeans giving it an international flavor. Its only 5 blocks long. I wanted to settled in a small place so every time I go back there is the familiarity of people and places. But since the write up in the New York Times and Conde Nast Traveler, Cabarete is growing very quickly and the development of new establishments are opening every season.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Although I love the local decor and culture, the Victorian as a modern feeling. All units are brightly painted, sunlight fills all the rooms and at night all pathways are well lite. The community is friendly and all guests are open to socializing with new visitors.
