My family of 4 (me, husband, daughter and son-in-law) had to make an emergency trip to Nancy,Ky due to a family situation. Kevin was kind enough to let us stay at this house on a last minute basis for two nights,June 7 & 8, 2012. The house is just as described and clean and well kept and real cute. We didn't use the gas grill or cook much since we weren't at the house most of the time. It was very hot out but the A/C worked great! Kevin was always available to answer our questions even when we called after 10pm for directions (we took a wrong turn). We went into Somerset a few times which is about 10 minutes away. We also took a quick trip to Pulaski County Park (which is very close) and walked around a little. My daughter and her husband also went to Cumberland Falls. I recommend this rental for a family get-away or for friends who just want to explore the area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

we stayed here last year with our sons and their girlfriends... It was a diamond in the rough, a best kept secret, we were pleasantly surprised. Well kept, clean, close to the lake, off the beaten path and quiet at night! Looking forward to returning to this location!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
