Dinners at “Bear Down” always feel like a holiday, creating memories. After dinner all will assemble outside for a magical night under the magnificent Vermont stars by the fire pit. The bedding at “Bear Down” is top quality. This insures a good night sleep when it’s your time to turn in. Enjoy Echo Lake just seconds away where swimming, boating, fishing, volleyball and horseshoes are awaiting, or just spend your afternoon relaxing in the beautiful Vermont setting. Go to Killington Mountain for an exciting day of mountain biking, hiking or a scenic gondola ride to the top. Pico and Bromley Mountains both have theme parks that are fun for the whole family. Okemo has a brand new roller coaster at Jackson Gore and has a really good summer concert schedule. Shopping for the day is also a favorite, at the Manchester outlets or Woodstock just 20 minutes away. Don't forget to go horseback riding at the Hawk Mountain stables just five minutes away. We've rented a bunch of ski houses over the past ten years and this house is by far the most solid we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail is everywhere -- each room and bathroom is lovely, clean, spacious and, most of all, comfortable. We especially appreciated the top quality beds and linens after long days on the slopes. This house is great for a big group -- the open living space has plenty of room for everybody to hang out together cooking, eating and sitting by the fire or watching TV and the upstairs living area for the kids is an extra bonus. Just great all around. Thanks for sharing Randy and Lori!

Barbara and I and the gang would like to thank you again for giving us a beautiful place to share our family memories this past weekend. We had an amazing time filled with skiing, sledding, snowmobiles, games, and lots of laughs. We could see how much personal pride was built into your beautiful home (the view was spectacular) and we treated it with the care and respect it so deserved.
