Owner Description
We are the Astl family.
Klaus was born in the wonderful Achensee area. He was married to a wonderful German lady: Elisabeth.
In 1982 we bought this house and from that day on we improved the house continually. Some of our guests even think that our house is brand new.
Our two kids are now grown up and they are visiting us occasionally.
Why the Owner Chose Maurach Am Achensee
We bought this property, because it is perfectly situated:
Regional: We got a breath taking view of the lake and the mountains. There is a lovely little village with supermarkets, shops and finger licking good restaurants. This part of Austria is well known for winter sports. In summer there is an uncountable number of possibilities if you want to go in for sports.
Global: We are close to airports. Major attractions are to be reached easily. Munich, Venice, Salzburg, Kitzbuehel, Lake Konstanz, …
