  This cabin has a spectacular view. It rests on the north end of Crestline and the back porch offers a view that is reminiscent of the Alps. Sunset is really something special here. Mornings are cool, crisp, and gorgeous. Quiet, serene, and beautiful. Cabin is well stocked with comforts and clean on the interior. Kitchen is big enough and furbished enough to cook for a family, which you should plan on -- The local eats are sub par. Don't plan on using 3G or 4G service. Picture text messages didn't load until we left town. Wife and I went during the summer and it was well too hot inside the cabin despite our multiple hour morning rituals to keep the place remotely cool enough to stay indoors after 2pm. No lie, it was 80 degrees or hotter inside every afternoon. It could really use a window A/C unit. Thankfully, downstairs stays 5 to 10 degrees cooler so sleeping with a fan on maximum was doable. This explains the bargain summer rates.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

  We had such a wonderful time in Crestline. The cabin was clean and neat and everything we needed was there. We will definitely be coming back.

  Our stay at this cabin was enjoyable. However, because of my bad knee, it would have been nice to know that there were three flights of stairs to manuever. Two to get down to the cabin, and another to get to the one bathroom on the level with the bedrooms. Cable and WiFi weren't working when we first got there. Eventually got TV, but no WiFi.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway.
