LOS OLIVOS is set in a beautiful, tranquil valley just 5 minutes to the north of Ronda. The house is part of a 4 acre property with beautiful landscaped gardens and orchards of olive and citrus , walnut and almond, quince and medlar. From the villa there are spectacular view of the Sierra de las Nieves to the East and rolling farmland to the West.
The villa has been luxuriously equipped and furnished. Bedding and mattresses are top of the range, all furnishings have been stylishly combined and all equipment is of the very best. Los Olivos is a comfortably furnished self-contained villa set in the grounds of (the owners' house) Finca Maridadi, but is totally self-contained and has its own entrance and short drive and covered parking for 2 cars. The house has a large garden laid to lawn with automatic watering system with a large private swimming pool. There is a covered pergola for al fresco dining and covered shady dining terraces on 2 sides of the villa - perfect for an afternoon siesta.
There is a large light and airy open plan sitting room with dining area with wood fireplace and french doors leading out to the terrace and overlooking the garden & pool. The kitchen is very well equipped and fully fitted. There is a large master bedroom with Queen size bed, en-suite bathroom & 2 twin-bedded bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. All rooms have overhead fans and electric heating and duvets and electric blankets for Winter High quality bedding/linen provided. Maid service twice a week & pool/garden maintenance. Caro, the owner provides a well stocked Welcome Hamper to greet guests on their arrival and she is happy to cook occasional meals on request. Babysitting available. Los Olivos is available for rental all year with exceptional good off season winter rates. WIRELESS INTERNET AVAILABLE.

Ronda's beautiful historic centre contains many churches and elegant mansions dating back to the 15th Century. To the East is the pristine Sierra de la Nieves National Park, recently declared a Unesco Biosphere reserve and home to some of the most diverse flora and fauna in Spain. A series of traditional 'Pueblos Blancos' (white villages) are all within half an hour's drive. There are many tapas bars/restaurants very close to Los Olivos. There are many different activities to make your stay in Ronda a memorable one including Horse riding, walking, birdwatching, golf. Los Olivos is close to many places of historical interest including Seville, Granada, Cordoba and Jerez. 1 hr from beach and only 2 hrs away from the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada.

This our third visit to Ronda was by far the most enjoyable, due to the quality of both La Cancela and Los Olivos. The warm, homely atmosphere set in such tranquil settings was an absolute delight. Caro was always on hand to assist whenever required, but never obtrusive in any way at all. We can thoroughly recommend both villas in every way and look forward to returning as soon as we are able.

Los Olivos, a perfect place in the hills outside Ronda. Beautifully equipped with everything you could need and more. The gardens and pool providing a wonderful place to relax and spend time with family or friends, plus Caro is next door to help you with anything you need. If anyone wishes to find a haven to rest in, while exploring the stunning scenery in the mountains beyond Ronda, this is the place.

We have stayed in both Los Olivos and La Cancela and love them both equally. Caro is a brilliant host and always in the background making sure your stay is perfect. We will certainly be returning for a fifth visit!!
