We first came to Rhodes as children with our family in the late 70s and fell in love with the enchanting, historic village of Lindos. We have been visiting regularly ever since and, due to the strict building regulations, little has changed over the years. Of course, Lindos is now a busy tourist destination and there are numerous bars and restaurants lining the cobbled streets, but regardless of all this 21st Century hustle and bustle, there is still a wealth of old world charm and character and Lindos remains one of the most unique and unspoiled jewels of the Aegean.
Why the Owner Chose Lindos
For many years we have dreamed of owning our own villa in Lindos and about four years ago our search finally began... We were looking for our own slice of paradise close to Lindos Village and the beach and within easy reach of amenities. As soon as we saw Lindos Villa Fedra at Vlicha Views, we knew it was special. We immediately loved the location and the fact that this was such an exclusive and beautifully designed villa. But it was the moment we saw the amazing view from the pool terrace that our decision was made. This was the one!

We have just returned from a week at stunning villa Fedra, which was absolutely perfect. There are so many small details that add up to a huge amount of comfort and luxury. It was exactly what we were looking for, stunning views, a superb pool and the villa itself is fabulous, we couldn't have asked for me. I normally stay in 5 star hotels (mainly on business, unfortunately) and this place more than matched up to most of the hotels I've experienced. We spent many hours on the decking, soaking up the sun and the amazing views. We all agreed we would come back. If you’re think about booking this villa, don’t hesitate, it’s fantastic.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Hi Jo and Helen, Simply had to write a review as we had such a lovely holiday at your villa, you have thought of everything, it was even better than it looks on your photos, fantastic location, really well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable.Having the bbq was great too. Alex, your property manager was brilliant, not only helpful but with lots of local knowledge and information, advising us of a really interesting "Greek Dancing " night in Lardos (I think the whole village ended up dancing!) and an interesting visit to the monastery at Laerma. Unusually for us we did spend a lot of time around the pool as it was so relaxing but also enjoyed the beach which is really quiet and with a nice breeze. Lindos is charming, and we found everybody really friendly especially in the Ikon Bar which gave us free shots when England scored their first goal in the World Cup! We were a party of 17 in Lindos for a beautiful wedding at the picturesque St.Pauls Bay after which we enjoyed a magical glass bottomed boat ride, then a walk through the village to the wonderful little Ambrosia restaurant run by a great character George and his wife and son. Due to the size of our party we didn't get to see much of this lovely island and the week went far too quickly but we hope to return one day. Thanks also for all your help Jo, it has been a pleasure dealing with you and we really appreciated your directions to the villa from the airport and letting us stay later on the last day, it gave us an extra relaxing day at the beach. Would thoroughly recommend your villa to anyone thinking of holidaying in Lindos, it has everything.

"Villa Fedra is even more beautiful in person, which may seem impossible considering the lovely photos that accompany the website. The setting is relaxing and very picturesque. The owners were very responsive to all of my inquiries and the on-site property manager was extremely friendly and helpful. The villa was very clean and well equipped and a grocery store is close by. I would highly recommend this property and would love to return myself. Lindos is a charming city with quite a few very good restaurants. There are many interesting sites to visit on the island for those interested in history and many beaches to visit for the sunbathers. Thanks, Kristin"

Everything about the Villa was exactly as described in the details on the Holiday Rentals site and the photos only just about do the view justice! We visited the Villa mid-April and the area was very quiet, had the feeling of a relaxed resort gently waking up after its winter hibernation, dusting off, ready for the summer. There is no over development here though and I think high summer or otherwise, this area makes for a very pleasant destination. If you like wondering around in a hire car looking for sights of interest then Rhodes is simply teeming with them and all so close that around an hours driving easily gets you to any one of the four corners of the island. Rhodes old town is a fabulously well preserved walled enclave that oozes history from every brick, stone and pebble. If beaches are your thing then walk down to the wonderfully calm Vlicha bay a short stroll beneath the villa or hop in the car a short drive north to Tsampika Bay where the golden sands will have you running like a kid into the sea before you realise you forgot to wait for your wife and three kids to join you. However with such a relaxing view from the pool and garden it is difficult to tear yourself away from the Villa, which is as well equipped as any we have been to throughout the Meditteranean. It is new and clean and comfortable, with a wonderful light and airy quality. The owners and the agent they have in Rhodes are extremely helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. I can thourougly recommend this Villa.
