Set in a location that is half Hollywood, half Tuscany, this suite is within walking distance of Sunset Boulevard and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, yet is surrounded by birds and trees. Home to rock stars, movie stars and other creative types, Alta Loma is a hill that overlooks Hollywood. Many of the surrounding cottages were built in the 1920'S for silent film stars and Hollywood crafts people.
A pair of Hollywood designers customized this sprawling cabin-in the woods that provides a very natural, out-doors enviroment with some high-tech amenities: such as a translucent glass “wall” that disappears with the touch of a button and cabinets that hide the kitchen. Sleek contemporary furniture, a built-in sound system, and a 72” projection screen concealed in the ceiling – for watching DVDs, not television - complete a space that is ideal for entertaining or for leisure.
Outside, a 5-person Jacuzzi is set on the wrap-around deck, while a bamboo grove surrounds the property and maintains its privacy. The Alta Loma Suite has been the site for photo shoots by Playboy, People, and OK! among other magazines.
Alta Loma is gated after dark and has a residential parking lot. Our suite is also one of only three properties on the hill with its own single-car garage. |
