My husband and I stayed at the Round House for 8 nights , celebrating his 60th Birthday which happened to fall on Mother's Day , with family and friends The Round House, far exceeded our expectations . As you can see for yourself, it looks beautiful in the photograph. Well, it will definitely give you the "Wow" factor as you enter into this roomy and clean and just simply gorgeous place . You will be awed at every turn as you decent to beautiful rooms, starting with Master Bedroom, Living area/kitchen, down futher to two other bedrooms. The two main bedrooms have utterly magnificent views of the ocean and balconys you can walk out on to enjoy coffee in the morning and food throughout the day. The owner supplys you with everything you can possibly think you need, including kid beach toys, which came in very handy given we had our two little Grandchildren along with us for much of the time. The Hot tub at the house was the crowning glory , clean, right outside the bedroom we choose to stay in, of the three bedrooms with magnificent view of ocean , stars. Oh, yes, from the balcony outside our bedroom with the hot tub, you can walk down some stairs and underneath PCH to the beach !! Just two minutes from the house .... Laguna has wonderful restaurants. One in particular that we enjoyed , walking distance from the Round House, was The Coyote Grill ... We actually went there twice because we loved the food and atmosphere so much, and the service was excellent. Crystal, the owner of this beautiful home, checked in with us by phone to make sure everything was going well and to see if we had any questions, during our stay. She also left us her phone number to call her if we should have any questions for her. There was nothing she left unattended to so we never had a need to call but appreciated her thoughtfulness. Bottom line, you could not find a more perfect place to stay to celebrate a special occasion or just for a get away . We will ALWAYS remember John's 60th Birthday Celebration and Mother's Day in Laguna Beach at the Round House !! I highly recommend it for anyone of any age who want to explore all that Laguna Beach has to offer, such as hiking to swimming in the ocean, fun shopping, etc.Did you find this review helpful? I am disabled and was overjoyed to stay at the Roundhouse. The elevator on garage level made the experience for me, personally. It is highly unusual to find such a nice property with such ease of mobility for all. The ability to get to both the bedroom and living room space was great! I am disabled and was overjoyed to stay at the Roundhouse. The elevator on garage level made the experience for me personally. We wanted to be on the California coast for New Year's and we wanted a nice home that our entire family would enjoy. The family aspect was very important to us as we have a teenager, and two twenty-somethings away at college. The Round House fit the bill perfectly, and we all felt this was one of the best vacations we ever had! Specifically: The view is incredible! Each sunset was a wonder of its own, and the day time views were exquisite too. By the way, this view is not only from the patio and the hot tub, but from every room in the house, as well. The house itself was also absolutely stunning..... like something out of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. All the rooms were beautiful. There is a good kitchen, and luxury furnishings. The Master Suite was like a Hollywood movie.... my wife especially enjoyed the ladies vanity and the bathroom. And interestingly, as a big bonus for us, the architect's design was such that all sound within the house was well baffled..... this meant the kids could stay up late watching TV or talking if they wanted without disturbing anyone who wanted to sleep. The neighborhood was very lovely and quiet. They was no noise from the Coast Highway or the beach to speak of at all. The garage is stocked with all kinds of goodies for play from wet suits to snorkel gear to a surfboard.... literally everything you need is there and ready to go. The location is amazing with local shopping, walking on a perfect beach, and proximity to everything LA has to offer - we saw Cirque de Soliel and went to Disneyland as our day trips. And finally, the owner was very gracious, attentive, and helpful in meeting all needs for our stay. She bent over backwards to make sure we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. All in all, we give The Round House our highest possible recommendation. If there were a 6 on the scale of 1 to 5 at the top of the page we would have selected THAT rating!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

The views are great, and home is very nice. The owner was very helpful on all matters including where to eat, and what to see in the local area. My wife and I enjoyed a production of "Cats" in Costa Mesa, and returned to the Round House and spent the night enjoying sitting in the hot tub looking at the ocean views, does'nt get much better. One day as sitting on the deck, my wife called me to the deck and she was watching whales in the ocean. The owner was very promp on all money matters. We would recommend this propery, in fact we will be booking another stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

The pictures of the view do not show that the house overlooks the Pacific Coast Highway and a parking lot of a main beach in Laguna. Much noise is generated from the traffic and can be heard from the deck and home. I would not recommend this property to friends.Owner response: This woman toured the property in advance with me and was literally ecstatic about the property and was in for one night only for a birthday party. When there was a fee deducted for damaged floor and stuck elevator( which was waived), she had a total change of heart. All coastal properties get the same noise, actually more, because the Round House is quite an elevated orientation, as Pacific Coast Highway runs along the coast. If the view is not the "parking lot and beach", then it's roof tops which cut off the waves crashing and sand. It is by far one of the premier views in Laguna, and better than most hotels in Laguna. I stand behind the view as a spectacular panoramic view, from an elevated orientation, which makes it even more dramatic. The view is the strongest feature of the property actually, followed by architecture, and decor. Crystal Rubachko

Outstanding location, 3 minute walk from the beach. The round house is beautifully furnished and generously equipped with linens, towels and dishware. Being in the house is as relaxing as being across the street, on the sand. The round house is our "family favorite".Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Round House and highly recommend it to others. We echo the comments made by earlier guests in their description of this architecturally unique, well appointed home with breathtaking views. Making the rental arrangements with the owner was also a pleasant experience. The entire transaction was handled very professionally and our security deposit was returned in a timely manner.
