Located in the historic town of Paradise, California just twenty minutes from Lake Oroville, CA, and just 15 minutes from Chico, CA. Ideally located near a beautiful golf course, shopping, and the most beautiful fishing spots in the world. Paradise is nestled among the pines with local hiking trails and lovely quaint mountain towns to explore nearby; not to mention the 23 fun Antique stores to enjoy. Local dining is at its best with renowned chefs creating delicious meals all within a few miles of your beautiful cottage retreat.
Our cottage is spacious enough to accommodate six comfortably. Our large backyard is perfect for that afternoon nap or romp with the kids. The park-like front yard looks out upon a quiet street with parking for four, and extra space for boat trailers, etc. There are two covered porches to sit and relax to enjoy the beautiful Paradise outdoors.
For nearby water recreation there is Lake Oroville with boating and exciting recreation amenities and 167 miles of shore line; this beautiful lake has it all. Skiers and wake boarders alike will find "Paradise" all day long! Also, Paradise is just minutes from Feather Falls Casino. Plan your vacation around numerous seasonal events such as Johnny Appleseed Days or Paradise Chocolate Fest.
The large master bedroom has a queen-size bed, the middle bedroom has a double-size bed (sleeps 2), and the third bedroom has a queen size bed (separate mother-in-law unit complete with small kitchen and full bathroom). The open floor plan of the family room is perfect for enjoying a fire by the cozy fireplace, watching videos or cable TV or just relaxing. Our kitchen is bright and cheery and has all amenities needed for a wonderful "get-away".

Hello, My name is Julia T. I wanted to thank you for having such a wonderful rental home in Paradise, CA. My husband found your rental when needing to find a place for us to stay at in the chico area after our wedding in Chico, April 30th. I was so surprised to find your home so inviting and comfortable. We felt like we were in heaven as we relaxed the 3 days after our wedding and before we flew to our next destination. The hot tub was amazing- so big! Plus the wrap around porch is such a wonderful feature. We had our meals on the porch at the side table. Each room was so nicely decorated.

This is a wonderful cottage that we rented the week of Oct. 24 TH. The house was the perfect oasis that made for a great trip. We especially enjoyed the quiet serenity and all the personal decorating touches that made us feel so comfortable. Paradise is a great place to bike ride, there are beautiful paths along the flume trail. The cottage has a wonderful jacuzzi awaiting your sore muscles. AHHHH! The memories make me want to return soon to explore new trails.

This was an absolutely wonderful place. We were in Paradise for a week for a family reunion with 1 brother and 4 sisters in their 80's and this place provided a perfect meeting place. Very comfortable and perfect for preparing and shaing meals. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Owner was very accomidating!!

We rented this cottage when attending a studio course. It was a wonderful homey place to come back to after a long day of art. It was well appointed with a touch of whimsy. We were there during a very cool and rainy stretch so didn't get to enjoy the gardens and porches - they sure did look inviting. Julie was very helpful in every respect - very accomodating to us renting on very short notice. You will definitely need a car if you go to Paradise - this cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood. We'd go back.
