Thanks for taking a look at our house in Chatham. Stay until the traffic leaves on a Tuesday Check out after Labor Day
Right in the center of town and many good dates left - we just listed for new renters in March. Few true cape cottages offer this much space and this great a location - the CENTER of TOWN. A Chatham shopper's delight and a short walk to Oyster Pond. If you've visited the library, you were just next door to downtown Chatham's ONLY pebbled lane - Blackberry Lane.
ALL NEW FURNITURE just arrived in the house!
The home sleeps 5 in singles and 4 in two queen beds. It is ideal for two families. The upstairs has a full bath and two bedrooms. The first has a queen bed and a single sleeper chair. The second room has a trundle bed (two twin beds). This room with the twin beds is a blast for kids: it has book shelves and drawing areas. The main floor has a full separate bath. The larger bedroom has a queen bed and a shower only bath. The fourth bedroom has a bunk bed (two twin beds). Air Conditioning throughout. The Sun room has a new 52 LCD widescreen with cable, DVDs and a Bose stereo system. This room has a pit group sofa, a wet bar and a desk with a printer/WIFI internet access.
A full dining room (seats 8) and a kitchen nook make eating in a breeze. The kitchen is cozy and fully stocked with dining/cooking items. The intimate living room has two incredible leather chairs for reading and the fireplace. We have a growing reading library, board game library, video library and music library - and we are adding each visit.
The charm of the house is clear for those who have frequented downtown Chatham - WASHASHORES. Literally steps from the Squire and Yankee Ingenuity. You can hear the Friday Night Music from the park in your front yard! For the beach lovers - my family walks to Oyster pond beach - a great saltwater family beach. You can use our beach cart and chairs for the 4/10 of a mile walk. Oyster pond beach has lifeguards, a shallow roped swimming area, and bathrooms (and a regular ice cream truck)! This beach avoids the problems with parking at or driving to the larger public beaches. The Coastguard Station, lighthouse and beach are Eastward about 1.2 miles.
If you would like to arrive into town and walk the rest of the week (after a trip to the StopNShop) please consider this your summer home.
We will continue to update the house over the seasons and are truly hopeful that your family will call this their summer home.
