Great location, nice place

Overall, the place was great. The association pool and hottub were very nice. Since it was off season, we had it to ourselves. It was only a very short walk to a fantastic beach. The place was clean and comfortable, well maintained. The owner was helpful in suggesting dining and such in the area. I left a message for the owner that the one sink was draining slow, and the toaster needed to be replaced. I also could not get the icemaker to work. We got ice from the pool house. Minor stuff, easily fixed. One other suggestion might be a dehumidifier. My rating would be "excellent" except for these few things. I would definately recommend this listing.

We just purchased the toaster and fridge, so its a bit frustrating that you had issues. I will be dropping a new toaster off shortly, and we've called a repairman for the ice maker. Wonderful Stay

We stayed between Christmas and New Year, the condo is great, the location is wonderful. The condo and very clean and the decor is excellent. You will not be disapointed with a stay in this condo.

Excellent Location, but needs some attention.

We had an excellent visit to Southern Cal. and kids really enjoyed our busy ride filled days. The condo was the only issue that we had. The owner, Jason, is very easy to talk to, and did everything he could considering the circumstances. So rest assured, I do think he will be handling things appropriately, but everyone should still be aware. The unit was VERY dirty. The couches were so bad that we had to put bed sheets down in order to feel comfortable sitting on them. The dishes were dirty, kitchen chair seat covers needed to be thrown out, toilet flush handle not working, laundry machine was completely musty and moldy, beds were squicky, floors needed a good mopping, ........ Lets just say I think Jason needs to replace his cleaning staff. The location is absolutely the best, you'll love the complex and the great access to the beach. You really are 1 minute from a million dollar view, and then take another minute down the stairs (or elevator) to the beautiful beach. We enjoyed a walk down to the beach twice a day. The complex has a wonderful pool and the parking space was perfect (out of the heat). I'm really torn as to how to rate this unit, because the location and complex were awesome. Jason was very easy to talk to and quickly accomidated my request. BUT the unit really was very very dirty. So I'm gonna have to go with FAIR, but should Jason get the cleaning staff in line and replace the few things that I had indicated to him, then the rating would need to be GOOD. We have since switched to a wonderful European Maid Service, and have been extremely happy with the results. We spent over $150,000 on a remodel last year so we are very committed to keeping our home in the best possible condition. My wife and I have replaced the items you mentioned, in addition to a few other things that weren’t up to our standards. We also spent a week in the condo recently to ensure everything lives up to our high expectations. Once again thank you for sharing your thoughts with me, honest feedback is the only way we can improve upon our home for future guests. I would tend to agree that our location is truly unbelievable, the amenities outstanding, and with the new changes we have implemented I hope that you will consider staying with us again soon. Unbelievable beach condo, one of the best vacations ever!

My family and I stayed at this charming location over Memorial Day week and absolutely fell in love with it. There is a really lovely family room with fireplace that is ideal for sharing a bottle of wine, relaxing with family or friends or just simply reading. The home is really tastefully appointed, comfortable and fully equipped (along with real wine glasses and cups for those who hate wine in plastic cups :-). Jason, the owner, was wonderful to deal with and very accommodating. My extended family stayed in a larger house a few miles inland but everyone wanted to hang out at our place because it was so comfortable, charming and warm. Plus you really can’t be any closer to the beach without actually being on the sand. It was also nice to walk to dinner at some of the charming cafés and restaurants in their neighborhood. Perfect location, wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at this condo a few weeks back. The beach-front location is truly perfect and the condo is part of a very lush, gorgeous condo community. The condo was in excellent condition and very clean. The only less than perfect item of note to point out is that the beds in the two bedrooms outside of the master bedroom are the fold-out metal frame type (the metal frames have been cropped from the bottom of the photos on the website). Every slight movement in both beds produces a loud squeaky noise and the beds are not comfortable. For your children this would probably be just fine, but as an adult, I found them loud and uncomfortable. Again, I want to stress that the condo is absolutely perfect - perfect location, beautifully maintained.

Perfect Family Beach Get Away

This is the perfect family location -- while technically in Dana Point, even our Laguna Beach-based family members agreed that this beach was the perfect beach destination and vowed to make it their own from now on. This is our fifth LB-area rental and is definitely the best value. The condo initially appears spare, but affords every convenience. Turns out that the spare floor makes for easy sweeping (of the sand you inevitably drag in from the lovely nearby shores). The linens are soft and comfortable. And, the kitchen has all you need to satisfy your culinary aspirations. My family enjoyed the jacuzzi and swimming pool, especially in the evenings. And, the fact that beach gear is already provided eliminates the need to spend the first day in town trolling for chairs, umbrellas and the like! The condo is ideally located close to the highway and great shopping -- for those who appreciate excellent groceries, Gelsons and TJs are nearby. And, for those who come from far away and need to shop for a few essentials, the Mission Viejo mall is an excellent, nearby resource. And, our trip to San Diego was a breeze, passing quickly through Dana Point toward points South. Other luxuries include flat screen TVs in each bedroom that make for a "discussion-free" evening (esp. among the younger set). And, we all liked gathering for the Daily Show and Colbert Report on the flat screen in the main room...the only downside, and it's minor, is that there is limited outdoor space immediately connected to the condo unit itself. Because we couldn't get enough of the ocean air, we took advantage of the small patio outside the Master for more than one bbq dinner...I ended up writing this review after looking (again) for a great place to stay in/near Laguna. Can't believe I had the great luck to find it twice (despite the fact the owners changed the title!)

Remarkable home

We stayed at this beautiful home last October, it's proximity to the beach is hard to believe considering how much has been invested in remodeling the property. Other properties close by were charging over $500 more per week, and weren't nearly as nice. The owner is also very helpful and knows a lot about the area, since he lives close by.
