1,600 square foot 3-bedroom, 2-bath spacious house, with swimming pool in a very nice neighborhood just five minutes from Cable Beach. The house also has a beautiful studio apartment which is available for separate rental in conjunction with the 3 bedroom unit.
House, which has a large yard with interesting foliage, is fully furnished with all appliances, including washer/dryer, cable television, DVD, CD player, telephones, computer with high speed wireless Internet, printer/fax machine, and is ideal for families or business persons seeking a home-away-from-home in the city of Nassau, without the crowds and limitations associated with hotels. Communication is made simple with free local calls plus toll-free calls to North America and the United Kingdom, as well as use of a local cell phone. In keeping with global concern for the environment, no costs were spared in making the building environmentally friendly, with solar heating, flourescent lighting, energy-efficient appliances. There is also a security system which is monitored by a reputable security firm. If there are island-wide power failures, guests do not need to be concerned because the house has its own generator which kicks in automatically if Bahamas Electricity Corporation, which generates electricity for the island, experiences problems.
Special requirements of the visitor can be personalized in terms of stocking of the house, assistance with itinerary, maid, babysitting and laundry services, transfers from the airport, etc. We cater to special needs to ensure that your stay is a memorable one

- Cable/Satellite TV: Television is connected to Cable Bahamas, with full selection of US channels and local channels

- Video Library: A DVDs library is available of both current and Classic movies (including Academy award movies); plus children's movies
- Video Game Console: Video games for children are available on request
- Video Games: Video games available for children on request, although most parents have asked that the games not be placed in the unit so that kids can be encouraged to enjoy the outdoors.

- Cell Phone: A cell phone is provided complimentary to be used by guests for local calls. Guests who decide to use this phone can buy calling cards as required.
- Computer w/ Dial-up Internet: A full-sized computer with high-speed internet is available in Bedroom 3 solely for the use of guests
- Broadband Internet: Cable Bahamas internet service is available. A computer with high-speed internet is available. There is also wireless internet for persons who choose to bring their own laptops

- A separate studio apartment just next to this 3-bedroom unit is available for rental in conjunction with this property, for use by members of the same party. However, this unit is not available for rental separately. The intent is to ensure that only related families have access to the pool.

Why the Owner Chose Nassau
We bought thi property because of its location in a nice neighbourhood and because the house has great character, with large room, back and front patios, pool and beautifully landscaped garden with fruit trees and native species which attract a large number of birds. One of its biggest assets is the central location just minutes away from the beaches, hotel resorts, restaurants, downtown area and other tourist attractions.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Guests can easily commute to all of the activities available in Nassau - Swimming with the Dolphins, shark diving, water skiing, snorkelling, golf, etc. and then come home and enjoy the comfort and privacy of this spacious property, while cooking their own meals, or ordering a chef to cook for them. Many guests spend much of their time at home, enjoying barbecues at the pool. and the kids enjoy the large assortment of movies (both the Classics, Academy Award movies and the current best sellers). The house is well equipped with all of the comforts of home. It is a great way to enjoy a vacation on a budget since there is only a flat rental fee, with absolutely no hidden costs.

The owner of the property served for 30 years in the Ministry of Tourism and is fully familiar with the needs of the most discerning visitor.
The property was originally the family home in a lovely neighbourhood. Because of its size and attractiveness, it became the popular location for Family and office celebrations, pool parties, Sunday barbecues and other events.
Now that my family has moved away, and my daughter is away from home practising law in Nashille, I converted the home to a vacation rental so that others can enjoy this beautiful property.
