Welcome to the Hawaiian Hibiscus Home in Poipu where all the furniture and decorations are new for your enjoyment. Hawaiian Hibiscus Home is a custom built multilevel home in the peaceful Kiahuna Golf Village. The thoughtful design of this large house, 3700 sq ft inside and 1000 sq ft lanais, provides multiple living areas for accommodating a large family or several families in privacy without giving you the cramped in feeling of smaller homes or condominiums.
As you get out of your car to walk to the main entrance a colorful tropical flowers (Hawaiian hibiscus) and mature palm trees welcomes you to the Hawaiian Hibiscus Home. The entrance floor has two separate living areas, a formal dining room, kitchen, two master bedrooms, a wonderful sun room, and a twin bedroom. One of the living areas faces the front garden and the other one faces the back garden. The living areas have two large flat screen TVs and a fireplace shared with one of the master bedrooms. The formal dining room and the dining table on the back lanai give you a choice of eating indoors or eating outdoors while enjoying the colorful garden, the chirping birds and the wonderful Kauai weather. There is private spa in the back garden for you to relax in, listen to music and enjoy the starry Hawaiian nights in the evening.
A large open kitchen is adjacent to the formal dining room and provides you with two gas cooking facilities so that meals for large groups can be cooked in a hurry. A deluxe five-burner gas grill on the lanai invites you to barbecue to your hearts desire.
The larger of the two master bedrooms is as big as some one bedroom condominiums and has king bed - Savannah collection, a 42" HDTV and DVD player, its own private lanai. The master bath features garden view, a separate walk in shower and Jacuzzi for 2.
The second master bedroom is also very large and has a king bed - spacious PISA collection, 36"flat screen TV and DVD player.
The twin bedroom on this level has two twin beds which can convert to a king bed, a flat screen cable TV and DVD player.
The first level has two bedrooms, a king and a twins bedroom, a full bathroom and can also be accessed from its own separate entrance from the beautiful garden.
The king bedroom down stair faces the back garden and has its own private patio. The twin bedroom faces the side garden. The room has beautiful Hawaiian decoration. Both bedrooms also have HDTV and DVD player.
All the beds are of the best kind with 1000 thread sheets to give you many hours of relaxing sleep.

We had a very comfortable stay in this home, in a very quiet and beautiful part of the island. The house is spacious, the starting amenities provided were ample and generous (sugar/tea/coffee/soaps, etc)... Small touches added to the experience...It was a nice suprise to see 10 beach towels waiting to be used- and soaps/shampoos in each bathroom. Kay and Bill were very accomodating, bringing us a set of clean pillowcases, and providing recommendations for Fish markets/restaurants/and massage therapists. We enjoyed the hammock and hot tub, the lounge chairs and beautiful hibiscus and plumeria trees. The girls in our house never left the house without a plumeria behind one ear... it really was lovely. We love Poipu with its perfect balance of good weather and great beaches. We also like our privacy, quiet and peace when we are on vacation. The location of this house, Kiahuna Golf Village, arguably the most desirable community to live in on the south shore, great neighbors, lack of traffic and proximity to all the beaches we like: Poipu, Shipwreck and Mahaulepu made us choose this house over many others available at the same time.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We love to listen to the birds with the sun coming up in the mornings. At night sitting on the back lanai, with all the lights off, star gazing and watching the milky way is awe inspiring. We also like to walk and watch the flocks of green parrots come to roost on the royal palms at sunset. Finally, of course we enjoy like the proximity to the Poipu beach park for snorkeling and to Mahaulepu for windsurfing or just laying lazily at the beach.

The kiahuna golf and village have many ancient remnants of an authentic Hawaiian village into the design, where you will experience the beauty and a sense of the enduring history of the islands and Kauai.
Three different lagoons; baby lagoon, with a separate lagoon for young children, snorkeling, surfing and beach parties. Poipu beach was voted the best beach in US in 2004 and it is still one of the top ten beaches in the USA. It also has playground, life guard and outdoor showers.

We are a family of four: Erdogan, Ning, Bora and Deniz. Erdogan is Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ning is a senior engineer in a small company as well as the University of Michigan making neural prostheses, Bora is a very accomplished sailor of all types of boats, and Deniz is a junior high student aspiring to become a video game designer. We live in Ann Arbor Michigan, which makes us appreciate the warmth of Kauai. Our motto is work hard play hard and try to make the world a better place for all.

WE had a great time - lovely house and plenty of room. WE ate most of our meals there and were delighted to find spices, condiments, etc left by others. It was easy to get to the variety of things to do. The managers were easy to get in touch with when we had any questions and helped us finding golf courses to play. Mahalo to everyone.

Our stay in Kauai was wonderful, and we attribute a lot of that to the fact that we stayed at hibiscus house. It gave all ten of us our own space and also allowed all of us to mingle. It is a wonderful house and Kauai is a wonderful island. We'd rent it again in a heartbeat!

We stayed at the Hawaiian Hibiscus home this past August for two weeks and found the house to be as comfortable as staying in our own home -- just in Kauai! Ning is very thoughtful and the house is fully stocked and the location is superb. We had our two kids and a set of grandparents and it was perfect. The kids went "frog hunting" each night in the neighborhood with flashlights which was fun. The two fridges and two washer and dryers were very convenient as well as the TVs and DVDs in each roo

My family and I had the priviledge of staying in the Hawaiian Hibicus Home at Poipu Beach from April 11th 2010 until April 18th, 2010. The home has every amenity of my home and more. It was spacious, clean and tranquil. My family of ten had no problems hanging out together or spending time away from each other. The neighborhood is very appealing to the eye and all properties are well kept. The neighbors and the people of Kauai are very friendly and eager to help if needed. The guest information book found inside the home is full of lots of information for visitors to Kauai. Trust me, READ the book! It will save you time when you are planning your day. The home has lots of surprising extras such as: beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards and snorkeling gear. I would highly recommend this home to others, you will not be disappointed. Thanks for allowing my family and I to borrow your home Ning, we really appreciate it! I plan on making a return trip in the future.

Ning, We had an absolutely wonderful time in Kauai and in the Hawaiian Hibiscus house. Your home was beautiful but also homey and comfortable. Our children loved the pool (as did the adults) and the hot tub. Everything we needed was right there making it hard to leave each day to explore the island. Emersyn loved her birthday present from you and still plays with it at home. We appreciated the very comfortable beds and furniture. The Master Suite is beautiful. We just returned home from a lovely stay in Kauai, and are quite sad to be back! Your home was just perfect for our group (3 couples, 2 kids), and we had everything we needed. The layout is fantastic, and there was plenty of space to be together or to get some quiet time away. The very large dining tables, BBQ, and kitchen really allowed us to spend most meals at your home, and the coolers allowed us to bring lunch to the beach. It was fantastic. Thank you for thinking of everything we could need while we stayed, and for the wonderful comfort of all the furniture, space, and amenities (Beds are great!). Our kiddos loved the pool, as did we, and it was so nice and quiet. Now if we could just get rid of the roosters on Kauai. :) Mahalo!!Terri

We had a great time at the house. The location was wonderful, and in perfect proximity to a toddler/baby beach. The house had high chairs, baby gates and beach toys which were also helpful. An extra bonus was that the water pressure in the showers was awesome!!!
