Our families had a great time at Hawaiian Hibiscus House. The house is large and roomy, everyone had their own space. The kids enjoyed the pool everyday and it made life easier to not have to be on the go all the time. Poipu is beautiful with great weather. We were visting from Kona on the Big Island. We felt truly at home and the memories made will last our lifetime. Thank you for everything!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, peaceful home. It was very relaxing to be in such a pretty and private location, and the heated pool and hot tub were excellent features. The house is comfortable, beautifully furnished and well equipped, and great value compared to the much smaller and less private condos available elsewhere. WE had a great time - lovely house and plenty of room. WE ate most of our meals there and were delighted to find spices, condiments, etc left by others. It was easy to get to the variety of things to do. The managers were easy to get in touch with when we had any questions and helped us finding golf courses to play. Mahalo to everyone.

We stayed at the Hawaiian Hibiscus home this past August for two weeks and found the house to be as comfortable as staying in our own home -- just in Kauai! Ning is very thoughtful and the house is fully stocked and the location is superb. We had our two kids and a set of grandparents and it was perfect. The kids went "frog hunting" each night in the neighborhood with flashlights which was fun. The two fridges and two washer and dryers were very convenient as well as the TVs and DVDs in each roo

Our stay in Kauai was wonderful, and we attribute a lot of that to the fact that we stayed at hibiscus house. It gave all ten of us our own space and also allowed all of us to mingle. It is a wonderful house and Kauai is a wonderful island. We'd rent it again in a heartbeat!

My family and I had the priviledge of staying in the Hawaiian Hibicus Home at Poipu Beach from April 11th 2010 until April 18th, 2010. The home has every amenity of my home and more. It was spacious, clean and tranquil. My family of ten had no problems hanging out together or spending time away from each other. The neighborhood is very appealing to the eye and all properties are well kept. The neighbors and the people of Kauai are very friendly and eager to help if needed. The guest information book found inside the home is full of lots of information for visitors to Kauai. Trust me, READ the book! It will save you time when you are planning your day. The home has lots of surprising extras such as: beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards and snorkeling gear. I would highly recommend this home to others, you will not be disappointed. Thanks for allowing my family and I to borrow your home Ning, we really appreciate it! I plan on making a return trip in the future.

Ning, We had an absolutely wonderful time in Kauai and in the Hawaiian Hibiscus house. Your home was beautiful but also homey and comfortable. Our children loved the pool (as did the adults) and the hot tub. Everything we needed was right there making it hard to leave each day to explore the island. Emersyn loved her birthday present from you and still plays with it at home. We appreciated the very comfortable beds and furniture. The Master Suite is beautiful. We just returned home from a lovely stay in Kauai, and are quite sad to be back! Your home was just perfect for our group (3 couples, 2 kids), and we had everything we needed. The layout is fantastic, and there was plenty of space to be together or to get some quiet time away. The very large dining tables, BBQ, and kitchen really allowed us to spend most meals at your home, and the coolers allowed us to bring lunch to the beach. It was fantastic. Thank you for thinking of everything we could need while we stayed, and for the wonderful comfort of all the furniture, space, and amenities (Beds are great!). Our kiddos loved the pool, as did we, and it was so nice and quiet. Now if we could just get rid of the roosters on Kauai. :) Mahalo!!Terri

We had a great time at the house. The location was wonderful, and in perfect proximity to a toddler/baby beach. The house had high chairs, baby gates and beach toys which were also helpful. An extra bonus was that the water pressure in the showers was awesome!!!

Our January 2010 vacation in Kauai was memorable, and mainly because of the Hawaiian Hibiscus home. The home is beautiful as well as comfortable. The attention to detail and gracious amenities made the rental worth every penny! The owners were wonderful to work with and they made the Hawaiian Hibiscus a perfect home away from home. Don't hesitate if you are considering renting the Hibiscus home!

Your home was perfect for our 2 week stay in Kauai. The layout and space in the home accomodated our extended family so well it truely began to feel like home. Aloha Ning! Your home was a perfect fit for our group of 10 (8 adults plus 2 children ages three and one). There was plently of space for everyone in the house, your home is in a beautiful neighborhood, and Poipu is such a great location. Whether the sun was coming up, or the moon was high in the sky, you could always find one of us enjoying the backyard pool & hot tub. A big thank you for providing all the little 'extras' as well - we were pleasantly surprised to find the snorkeling gear, and the big coolers came in handy on more than one occassion. If we are lucky enough to return to Kauai, we would love to stay again at the Hawaiian Hibiscus home. Mahalo!

Aloha Ming,We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Hibiscus House. The first night after a long travel day we enjoyed a glass of wine in the hot tub. Thank you very much for having the house prepared for our arrival. Was a great start to our vacation.Both couples found the house very accommodating. Probably spent more time out on the back deck than we should have! We all loved the layout of the house.Was great being in a quiet location after a full day of adventure. Ning-great house! Being able to jump in the jazcuzzi the 1st night after a full day of travel was the perfect way to start the vacation. The pool was great place to hang out in-between activities or waiting for others to get ready for the next adventure. Your care takers were very responsive to our questions/issues. A great location too! All the travel books & binder of information was also very helpful. Thanks also for sending me back my mirror-I still plan to send you a thank you! Too much of a rat-race back here (I'm 4 months past due on these comments! YIKES!) Thanks for opening up your home-it is much more beautiful than the pictures on the Web site. Mahalo!

We had an amazing visit to Kauai for our wedding.It was very very hot that day and the air conditioning in the home made it possible for all of the women in the wedding to get ready comfortable in the master suite! Everybody who stayed there could not believe how amazing this house was and it made lodging affordable for my large family. I hope we will be able to return soon and stay in this home again. Zero complaints.

What a wonderful house to stay at. We were able to entertain our guests here for our daughter, Allison's, wedding. It was nice being able to barbque, enjoy the pool and the hot tub. The house was so comfy and we appreciated having all the extras for the beach and spices for the kitchen. It was a truly relaxing time. I t was nice to have the hamock and have some quiet time. We visited this lovely home with two couples in early April and must say we were impressed and very satisfied. A great place with lots of room, in a very good location, with lots of extra's for guests. Our original plan was to eat out more but found the home so comfortable with everything we needed so we simply prepared more meals and enjoyed the home in the evenings. Can not say that we missed any items, and we took advantage of some of the ocean toys as well. We have been to Poipu and Kauai many times before but must say this stay was the best!

This was the first time our group had rented a house for a vacation. It was great. The location was wonderful. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The mornings were leisurely, with everyone getting up and getting their own breakfast when they wanted. It was nice to have a pool and hot tub to use in privacy. The ladies really appreciated the laundry facilities. All in all, being in a house rather than a hotel made for a wonderful, relaxing, economical vacation.

This home was ideal for our family of nine! There was ample room for everyone to cook, dine, gather, play or have quiet time alone. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and pool. It was a super family time for us - the house couldn't have been better!

We had a grand time and the house worked wonderfully for us. The beds were fabulous, thank you! We came to love the location in the golf village. Quiet and gracious. The BBQ was great. I've never seen that catalytic kind before and it cooked our fish and shrimp just right! It was wonderful to have beach chairs and snorkel gear there! The pool guy and yard guy both came during our visit, and they were professional and considerate of our being there.

My family and I had a wonderful two week vacation in your lovely home. It was perfect for a restful stay in Kauai - spacious, luxurious, with all the amenities one could hope for! The garden in the back is lovely and we enjoyed listening to the chorus of birds each morning while admiring the beautiful Plumeria and Poinciana trees. We had a very comfortable stay in this home, in a very quiet and beautiful part of the island. The house is spacious, the starting amenities provided were ample and generous (sugar/tea/coffee/soaps, etc)... Small touches added to the experience...It was a nice suprise to see 10 beach towels waiting to be used- and soaps/shampoos in each bathroom. Kay and Bill were very accomodating, bringing us a set of clean pillowcases, and providing recommendations for Fish markets/restaurants/and massage therapists. We enjoyed the hammock and hot tub, the lounge chairs and beautiful hibiscus and plumeria trees. The girls in our house never left the house without a plumeria behind one ear... it really was lovely. Since we've not been on the island in a few years, we'd forgotten that roaches live in warm places- so that was the only "yuck" thing we dealt with- and of course mosquitos- but guess that's part and parcel of an island vacation. Possibly installing a new front door screen would help (it kept opening) so one could have air flow thru easily. Other than that- it was a wonderful place to call home for 8 nights!
Owner response:Aloha, Thank you so much for your suggestion. We now have all the screen in every door. By opening the jalousie windows in the main living room and the second living room, the air will flow through the home easily and very pleasantly. We installed quite split AC in both King master suites and we also offer our new swimming pool and spa in this beautiful backyard. We have just furnished the Hawaiian Hibiscus home with all brand new furniture and appliances. We do everything we can to make this home a very comfortable, luxurious and spacious vacation rental. Our mission is to make the house the best it can be for our guests. Because we just started renting this home, we are waiting for our guests to provide comments. It is our goal to make this home a great place to be together for family and friends reunion.
