This was easily the best vacation our family has ever taken. We have 3 young children & had the most relaxing time! The house was absolutely perfect & the pool....amazing! We stayed during the month of January & had a great time. The pool heater made the pool comfortable & we were in it most of the time. Lake front was great because the kids enjoyed playing in the sand. We also rented a paddle board from a nearby place & it was perfect for the lake. The house was very comfortable & a great layout with the ground floor an open area to park but also with a table underneath to eat meals & an outdoor refridgerator and bathroom too! Perfect setup. There is also a great screened in porch facing the lake that we all loved. I just can't say enough about this place. We would LOVE to return for future vacations! If I didn't need to go shopping, I don't think I would have ever left the house the whole week!!!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The house and the setting are wonderful. There's more or less everything you need for a quiet and very relaxing time - balcony, pool, good kitchen, nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and so on. The little beach is gravelly but we were still able to make sandcastles and decorate them with fallen flower petals. The pool is nice, it was cold in the mornings but I'm not sure if this was our fault for not working the heater properly and we didn't mind or pay it much thought. The fence and tiles around the pool got a bit loose, but they maintain them well. Owner was very communicative and a pleasure to work with throughout. If we came back to Key Largo we'd definitely want to stay here again.

We stayed in this house for spring break and it was amazing! The owner was very sweet, the neighbors were nice and the house was perfect. When we arrived, we were blown away...its so beautiful and the pictures dont do this house justice! It was clean, stocked with everything we needed, and there was plenty of room for lots of people to have lots of fun :) The pool and beach in the back were used every day...the paddleboat was a blast!! It was really quiet and we had lots privacy...I cant say enough good things about this place!!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Peaceful and Relaxing

Our family could not say enough about Clara and her home. My husband is getting ready to go overseas and Clara opened up her home for less then a week which we really appreciated. My boys had a great time in the pool and playing ping pong outside. I myself enjoyed the hammock and a good book. Plenty of activities close by if you want to venture out for fishing or jet skies. (Whale Harbor best Jet Skies; the guys there were awesome) Our family had a GREAT time. I would recommend this home and will keep Clara in mind for future visits.

Our family rented this house in 2009 and have just completed a second year in 2010. Clara has made us feel so welcome in her beautifully decorated home. It is immaculately clean with very well equipped kitchen. Three generations enjoyed the pool, the screened in porch, and all the amenities. Close to great restaurants and attractions. A definite 10! Thank you Clara for sharing.

We rented this home for 10 days over Thanksgiving of 2009. The home is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very spacious. Clara made us feel like old friends. There was nothing we could want for. The neighborhood was beautiful, (I jogged in the evening and was very comfortable)the restaurants and shopping were great.I would rent this home again in a flash. Thanks Clara!

We rented this property for three weeks over the Christmas holidays. Unbelievable! Super-clean, great location. Safe neighborhood for kids, minutes to great restaurants, great house with nice open spaces, big bedrooms with TV's and big closets, new appliances, great big washer and dryer, rooms decorated to put you in the vacation spirit, great view, AND super pool. Three generations(5 adults, 3 children, and a baby) all had plenty of space and no one had a complaint. Clara the owner was so thoughtful and decorated the house for us for Christmas. I have rented from VRBO before and every owner should try to imitate Clara because she is perfect! Thank you for the memories.

Our family had a wonderful time at the house, it was clean, and comfortable. We spent many days exploring the surrounding areas, there was so much to do and not enough time. The local restaurants are excellent and good value for money. It was always nice to come back "home" and relax together in the evenings. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday was had by all of us. The photos of this house do not do it justice! This home is beautiful, immaculately clean, and in a great neighborhood. I've rented houses in many locations across the US and this is one of the best I've ever stayed in. Some of the best restaurants in Key Largo are close by as well as John Pennekamp state park. Everything was comfortable and clean and perfect!

Let me first tell you that the most difficult thing about renting a home for someone else is very difficult but you made this whole experience very easy for me. What a great home! We had such a wonderful and relaxing time. The home is beautiful, VERY clean, nicely decorated with all of the modern conveniences including wi-fi! Our kids had a blast in the lake. Not to mention how hospitable Clara (owner) was to us. She was very accommodating. It really felt like we were home (with a private beach of course). We had the best vacation in Key Largo. Not only was it a long, over due get-away, but the house made it feel like home. The view of the lake as soon as you pull up to the house is beautiful! The pool is so convenient and super fun with the beach area and small play area for the infinity runoff. All of us enjoyed the pool. The neighborhood is very quiet and nice. The house is so relaxed and easy to feel at home. It had a great amount of room for us and found it easy to cook and clean-up in the kitchen. I forgot how central Key Largo is to all the activites. The boating, jet skiing and parasailing all were very close. Great restaurants and the grocery super close. We are still talking about how much frun we had and can't wait to go back! The home is absolutley breath taking. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The back screened in porch allows you to sit and watch the Iguana's walk on the beach where you can dine, sit, read etc.. We drove from Tennessee and although the ride was long, it was so worth it once we arrived. We loved it and had the most memorable week. The owner is so sweet and one of the kindest people we have ever met. She went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed.My family would highly recommend staying at this rental. Well worth the price for the relaxation, and enjoyment you will receive.Thank you Clara!!

where can we start wish we were still there the house had everything you could expect and more the photos show you most but you have to see it the pool was awesome for the kids they snorkled right off the private beach in the back yard they never wanted to go anywhere bring hot dogs for the 3 guest who live in the back yard iguanas couples you gonna love the master shower very close to everything we went down to key west it took 1hr and 15 mins miami45mins but staying here was half the cost dont pass up renting this home if you can get it trust me youll fall in love with it thanks carla ken peggy
