Custom built Luxury lake Home with spectacular views on lake Rescue 4.5 Miles from Okemo Entrance. Ski Snowshoe snowmobile in the winter. Water ski, Kayak, fish, Mountain or road bike in the summer. 3.5 miles from Okemo Valley Golf Course. Full length deck leads to lower decks and large dock. Gas range and all new appliances. This is a special property.
General location: My Luxury home is located on Lake rescue. There are many great restaurants nearby in Ludlow and the surrounding towns of Chester and Weston, which is also home to the Vermont Country store and famous Weston Playhouse. Woodstock is a short 30 minute drive and is a very picturesque New England Village with fine restaurants and shops. Manchester Vermont is a 45 minute drive and is well known for its many factory outlets. There are endless opportunities for antiquing an all of these towns.
Winter activities: Okemo Mountain is less than 5 miles and is a very family friendly, large ski area known for amazing grooming and consistently great snow conditions. Killington is 15 miles away and is one of the largest ski areas in the Northeast with a huge variety of terrain from steeps to trees. Bear creek is a small private ski area open to the public and 5 miles down the road, there are never any lift lines there. Okemo Valley Golf Course has a nordic center for cross country skiing. Snow mobile trails are accessible out the front door of the house and the lake is a perfect place to go for a snow shoe tour.
Spring Summer and Fall.: Sit and enjoy the lake views on the full length deck or lay in the sun on the large lower deck. Stairs lead down to the lower decks and large dock with a canoe, Kayak and 8hp motor boat. The lake is stocked with rainbow and brown trout and is know for both small and large mouth bass. There are many excellent mountain bike trails nearby and Okemo Valley Golf Course is a picturesque, challenging course open to the public. Killington is also home to several well known courses. There many hiking trails within minutes of the house and the foliage in the fall is breathtaking.

We stayed in this great house for 3 nights in October. There were 7 of us that fit comfortably in all 4 bedrooms with plenty of bathrooms. The house was very clean in and out and very private. Great kitchen for cooking and entertaining. A Weber grill on a huge porch overlooking Lake Rescue. The main floor was very cozy. We never felt we were on top of each other. The access to the lake off the dock made it great for boating trips (boats provided) and fishing. I caught a 14” rainbow trout right off the dock! Restaurants and shops were 2 miles away. Plenty of surrounding activities for any level of outdoors person and/or kids. Overall, we had a great experience and can’t wait to do it again. We recommend this property to everyone. Thanks again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
