Great getaway for family. Cabin had everything you will need, clean and well-maintained. Great hiking trails, check out Skookumchuck Narrows about 50minute drive west. Highly recommend this rental. Greek restaurant was very good but pizza at Old Boot not recommended for large parties.Thursday night market in downtown was good for kids.

We stayed at this cabin for a week at the end of May, 2011, and had a wonderful time. The cabin was set up well for a family, with everything we needed. We loved the sunroom! It was a great base for exploring the Sunshine Coast. We hiked and combed beaches every day. The row boat that came with the cabin allowed us to catch our own fresh seafood to eat the entire time, from right in front of the cabin. The telescope in the sunroom was great for watching wildlife and checking out boats going by. We enjoyed campfires on the beach. The beach itself is long enough to go for a decent walk and there are a few tidal pools for kids to explore. The cabin was closer to the highway than we expected from the picture, so there was traffic noise, but it wasn't bad. The whole family wants to go back next year!

We stayed here in April with 3 kids and 4 adults and had a great time... we loved that the cabin was right on the beach, very safe for the kids to run around on and search for crabs.. there was enough space for everyone to spread out and the kids just loved the "kids" room with the bunk beds, there were lots of puzzles and we had a great game night of Monopoly. I would highly recommend this cabin for a getaway! The owners were a pleasure to deal with and there were no problems at all.

We had a relaxing time at this property in the Spring of 2011. The cabin is very clean and child friendly. Not only is there a beatiful beach with a spectacular view, there is also a fenced backyard. On a sunny day you can relax on the beach, if it rains a five minute drive will take you to Sechelt, where you can explore the town or swim at the newly constructed pool. Highly recommended.

We had the pleasure to stay here in March 2010 for a lovely spring retreat. The cabin was clean and comfortable even on the cooler days. Cabin has obviously been updated and well maintained with recent updates. Views from the sunroom were spectacular and we saw lots of wildlife including various birds, seals, mink, etc. You can't be any closer to the beach than this! Recommend for all seasons!
