Our condo – Tuscany at Tidewater – is intentionally outfitted in Mediterranean motif as a second home to discerning couples and small families. Tidewater management has strict policies that uphold the upscale and relaxing nature of the resort, including no rentals to anyone under the age of 25.
In addition to a spectacular unobstructed Gulf-front view from the living room and master bedroom, as well as a 30 foot covered balcony, this 1 bedroom, 2 bath unit sleeps six and has been decorated and furnished in a Mediterranean style. That includes plush bedding, flat screen televisions and fully furnished gourmet kitchen, as we like to eat well. It is located in the newly developed western end of Panama City Beach and is very conveniently located, including being within walking distance of the Pier Park mega shopping/entertainment complex.
The new NORTHWEST FLORIDA-PANAMA CITY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT is open and serving the area. SouthWest Airlines just announced they will be servicing the area and that is great news.
Why we purposely focus on weekly visits:
We prefer weekly or monthly guest bookings. Our condo is furnished as second home, including premium furnishings and full kitchen appliances and cookware. We are right for couples and small families desiring a comfortable extended getaway. Our condo and the on-site amenities are simply more than a hotel room.
We require higher housekeeping standards (we employ our own housekeeper) and have purposely put the value in weekly (and monthly) stays for better booking and scheduling continuity. For those reasons, the shorter-term stays are not conducive except during certain periods of the year. Even then, a 3-night minimum is required.
We have learned this delivers a much better overall experience for our guests.
Rates are quoted plus State of Florida taxes (12.62%).
Holiday weeks (4th of July; Labor Day; Thanksgiving; Christmas) require a 15% premium to listed rate.
The purchase of property damage insurance policy in lieu of a deposit, will also be required. This policy is $49 and covers all accidental damage.
Payment may be made by credit card. Credit Card processing fees will be added to total guest rental fee. Rates are based on availability and subject to change without notice.

For your information, the rental policy for the entire Tidewater Resort is as follows:
Renters must be 25 years of age minimal in order to rent Condos at this Resort. Further, one 25 years old renter must be actually living in the unit for every three guests occupying the condo. In addition a 50% visitor rule has been adopted. Guests renting a three bedrooms unit, which sleeps a maximum of 10 people, for example, are only authorized 5 visitors at any one time. Guests renting a two bedrooms unit are only authorized a maximum of 4 visitors at any one time, and guests renting a one bedroom unit are only authorized a maximum of 3 visitors at any one time.
Any renters violating these rules will be automatically evicted. These rules will be enforced very strongly, especially during Spring Break.

My husband and I have been married for nearly 34 years, have three sons and two lovely daughters-in-love. We live in metro-Atlanta and Mike is one of those rare "native Atlantans" and I'm a native Georgian! So, vacationing in Florida has been a life-time experience for us and we love it!
We enjoy eating out, long walks on the beach, relaxing with a good book, and cooking out with family and friends. Mike works in marketing & advertising with experience with high-end resorts, and I spent many years as a stay-at-home mom and now am a speaker & author.
Why the Owner Chose Tidewater Beach Resort
Vacationing at the beach has been a highlight of just about every year since we got married, so owning a vacation home on the beach. We choose Panama City Beach and this particular condo because of the beautiful white sand beach, the brilliant emerald-green waters, and the large balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows that allow us to view the ocean from the living area and the master bedroom. The fresh seafood is fabulous - both for eating out or taking advantage of the area seafood markets to cook in and enjoy a quiet dinner watching the sunset!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We enjoy relaxing on the beach with a good book, an occasional dip in the ocean and a leisurely walk on the beach - especially at sunset! With the large balcony, spacious layout, and fully-equipped kitchen we can relax and enjoy the sounds & sights of the ocean - even if one of those late afternoon rain showers pop up. Pier Park, the new beach-side shopping & dining community is just a half a mile away is a great way to spend an evening window-shopping, dining, or enjoying desert and music. There really is a lot to do, but most of all, we enjoy the relaxation and slowed-down pace.

We had a wonderful time at your Panama City Beach condo at the Tidewater Resort last week [May14th-21st]. Your condo was neat, clean, and made us feel right at home. The view from the 22nd floor was really amazing and the staff at Tidewater were very nice people. My family of five spent a week in this wonderful condo. Tidewater is very clean and the pools and beach access are great. There was some construction going on during our stay and the west pool was closed during the afternoon hours, but luckily there were not a lot of people during this week, therefore the east pool worked great. The unit itself is very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable like home, and the views of the gulf are spectacular. The owners, Mike and Jacquie, of this unit are awesome and we will definately rent this one again. Thanks for a wonderful experience, something we needed after our long Cleveland winter!!

First I would like to start out by saying that Mike and Jacquie were great to work with. They give us tips about where to eat and what activities to do while we were there. Their condo felt relaxing and it felt like you were at home. I was kind of timid about being on the 22nd floor, but we had wondeful views and it was not bad at all being that high up. After a relaxing day at the beach we would find ourselves sitting out on the balcony listening to the waves after sunset. And to finish up I would like to thank Mike and Jacquie for letting us use their condo.

What a lovely place to stay at the ocean. We really needed a nice vacation away from that cold Michigan winter and we found paradise. The condo was beautifully decorated and we had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. The view was perfect from the living room to the master bedroom. We had never vacationed in Panama City Beach before but I'm sure we'll be back again.Theres nothing better in the world than to wake up to the sound of the ocean waves. Thank you for a wonderful time
