Everything was perfect. This is a clean and well appointed apartment within easy access to the historic center. This is our third stay in this apartment and we have already booked again for 2014. I wouldn't think of staying anyplace else. This apartment has everything one needs for a comfortable stay and is located in a perfect neghborhood. The owner and his daughter are great hosts. This visit we were here for three weeks and didn't have a single problem. Looking forward to when we return again!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This is a wonderful apartment located just outside the Vatican walls. It's in a great location for exploring Rome. The apartment was clean and well furnished and the photos accurately represent the space. The owner was easy to work with and responsive to emails when inquiring about a rental. We didn't have many questions, relying on our map and guidebooks. The owner's daughter lives next door and checked to see if we needed anything. We walked everywhere and didn't use public transportation, although it is easily accessible. There are a couple of good restaurants - Angellotto's that we frequented. As well as The Old Bridge Gelateria. Really enjoyed being able to walk through St. Peter's Square everyday.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

Returning again this year we felt we had arrived home. You will not be disappointed with this rental. Great location with easy access to all the sites in Rome. Beautiful views from the apartment windows. A lovely little balcony to sit outside and enjoy the sights and smells of Italy. If you enjoy people watching the little balcony is perfect. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets right from the living room. The heat and all the appliances functioned perfectly. We used the washing machine to do several loads of laundry. Clothes dry quickly on the balcony or on the dryer under the heating unit. Finding an apartment with both a tub and a shower is a real find. There is great shopping within easy walking distance. The 81 bus takes you into the heart of the city and is located across the plaza from the apartment. The metro is only 2 blocks away. The Vatican is a 5 minute walk. The Vatican museum is directly across the street. The kitchen has all the utensils you need to prepare a great meal. Visiting Rome for Christmas was a dream come true. We requested tickets from the Vatican 2 months in advance and they sent a letter with the directions needed to pick up the tickets. The whole process was very easy and the experience was exceptional. The owner of this great apartment is very accommodating and friendly. The apartment is clean and comfortable. It is a gated complex and is very secure. We have already booked our next stay for 2013!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We have used VRBO rentals throughout the United States, and we decided to try a VRBO rental for our trip to Italy. What a wonderful surprize. The owner and his daughter were helpful in every way regarding renting this apartment and any questions we had. This apartment was clean, spacious and had everything you needed, including a great view and perfect location. We loved looking out the window with the city view and a view of the Vatican grounds. We bought the metro three day pass, but never used it. If you are up for walking and are not in a rush, you can walk to many of the sites of Rome from this apartment. The space in this apartment would be great for a family. We highly recommend this apartment for any trip to Rome.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We are just finishing up a three week vacation in Rome and have enjoyed this apartment. It is clean and well equiped. We really wish we could stay longer and have decided to book for 17 days in December and spend Christmas in this apartment. The vatican museum is across the street and St. Peters is a short walk. The 81 bus will take you into the Historic center and is very convenient. The metro is a short two blocks away and easily reached. The neighborhood has everything you could want within a short walk. We enjoy cooking and found everything we needed to prepare complete meals. The trionfale markets are a few blocks away and a must see experience. Every fresh item from meat to fruit - soup to nuts can be purchased there. The prices are great! The apartment has a shower and a tub which is a bonus in Rome apartments. There is a washing maching and items dry quickly when hung outside. There is a small balcony to sit and watch the world go by and to enjoy a cafe or gelato. We have been renting apartments in Rome for the last 6 years and have finally found the one that has everything we need. The TV even had a few english speaking channels! The owners daughter lives next door and speaks perfect English amoung other languages. Other reviews noted that there is noise from the street. This is to be expected in Rome. I found the windows blocked most of the noise but if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs and it should take care of any noise. I am a light sleeper and very sensitive to noise and I did not have problem with street noises. The building itself is very quiet and the neighbors were very friendly.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We stayed for 3 nights in October, and enjoyed this apartment very much. It's clean, spacious and airy, with comfortable furniture. The bathroom was updated and unexpectedly large. The view of St. Peter's dome reminded us of our great location every time we looked out the window. There was definitely traffic noise from below, but the windows shut it out very effectively. The location is a 5-7 minute walk to an A-line metro stop which gives access to most of Rome. Definitely would stay here again.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We rented this apartment for two weeks (10 Sep to 24 Sep 2011) and were extremely satisfied with its amenties and the service supplied by Giuseppe and Giulia (owner/operator). The apartment was all that was advertised and more; it was very spacious, clean, central and secure (a major concern for my wife and I). Both Giuseppe and Giulia were very helpful to us in relation to settling us in and helping us with some questions we had about Rome. We highly recommend this property to any and all!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We my wife and I stayed at this apt for 6weeks in nov. and dec. 2010 . It is one of if not the best we have rented in 10 years visiting Italy. The entrace is on the opposite side of the building so the veiw is of the Vatican and the wall.It has a small balcony that makes for a great place to have a coffee while watching the sights below. It was clean roomy and very comfortable. The owner and his cheerful son and knowledgeable daughter who live next door were wonderful. While they are no a guide service they are more than helpfull. Iwould suggest this apt to anyone, with a bit of advice about the noise level. It is loud being on a main street, but we were able to withstand it.. It is central to all of Rome with the metro nearby and plenty of places to eat and shop. My biggest concern is after this review we won't be able to rent it for fear it will be booked year round. We hope to returnRecommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful time at this apartment. Everything went smoothly. It is clean and convenient - just a few blocks to the metro. Since the Vatican is right across the street we got to go there several times which is what we wanted. The view outside the window of the Vatican wall was great and we enjoyed waving to the tourists in the morning on line for the Vatican museum from our balcony window. it was our first time in Italy, but God willing it won't be our last and I would definitely go back to this apartment.Recommended for: Tourists without a car.

This is one of the best apartments we have stayed-in during our two week long Europe trip! excellent location! clean, spacious, inviting, private place! It was very nice to come back to an AC equiped apt after long sizzling july-day hikes. My parents took advantage of being so close to the St. Peter's square by attending mass every morning we were there! Looking forward to coming back again. Thanks a lot!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2
