It is shallow and sandy for swimming but also perfect for water sports as well as excellent fishing. (There is a marina on the lake that rents boats) The stunning interior is appointed with full log construction, a fieldstone fireplace and rustic decor. The place is on the end of a private road; safe from traffic and very peaceful. Enjoy the modern conveniences of home, including a modern kitchen, a propane gas Weber grill, a washer and dryer, and satellite TV. The tap water is from a local spring, so good you could bottle it!
This private retreat is conveniently located 10 minutes away from Mackinac City and a half hour to Harbor Springs and Petoskey. Lake Michigan's Sturgeon Bay and sand dunes is 15 minutes away. Shopping, cinemas, great restaurants, golf, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, water parks, and Mackinaw Island are all at your fingertips.
The views are breathtaking, both inside and out. A true get-away vacation.
