Tucked away on a secluded, private road in tranquil Volcano Village, just minutes away from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Ohia Art Retreat is a comfortable, spacious studio haven situated next door to the working art studios of your hosts, two well-established artists who are members of the tight knit Volcano Artists Hui (group).
A sampling of original artworks from local artists surround you in this cozy space while you are treated to nature's beauty just outside your door within the landscaped gardens and tropical rainforest. Within this quiet sanctuary you will only hear the sounds of native Hawaiian birds and cooling trade winds.
This intimate retreat, situated on the ground floor of the main house is fully furnished with a double bed and a futon sleeper sofa for added comfort and accommodations. Amenities feature a full kitchen and with all appliances and utensils and wireless internet access for your convenience.
This unique studio was designed to suit a variety of guests like the inspired artist, fine art enthusiast, couples or even the thrifty travelers. It is located near Volcano Golf Course, Volcano Winery and a variety of art destinations.
Your hosts are knowledgable guides to the local art scene and do provide guided tours for swimming, picnics on the beach or gallery visits. They are also avid hikers and experienced on the trails in Volcanoes National Park.
