Pure Tahoe. Simply put, this home is where you will find pure satisfaction. Our home is in Historic Al Tahoe sitting on the meadow. No homes are in front of us. We sit on the deck and see trees, the lake, and an occasional coyote or bear. We are 5 minutes to Stateline where you can ride the Gondola up to Heavenly or have a great night out at the Casinos. Edgewood golf course is adjacent to the casinos. Upstairs is an open living room and kitchen with high ceilings and windows everywhere. We furnished the home with high end Dania couches and flat screen TV's. We have games for the kids if they feel like rocking out to guitar hero on the Wii or playing xbox. The kitchen is well equipped with stainless appliances with all the cooking utensils you could need.
The master bedroom has a king bed with another flat screen TV. Downstairs is another bedroom with a queen bed. The den is set with a full/twin bunk. The door leads to our downstairs deck with a new 8 person hot tub with views of the meadow and lake. In the back yard we have set up a great horse shoe pit and picnic table. It is an awesome place to kick back with your family and friends after a great day at the beach. Can you smell the bbq now??We also have a ping pong table set up in the garage.During the winter months the hot tub turns into an infinity pool. the snow can be as high as the tub and you feel immersed in the hot water while the snow is falling. What better way to sooth those sore skiing muscles?
We have a wine cooler to keep your bottles at the correct temperature while you are out sailing or skiing. We are only 2 miles to the casinos and the slopes. The streets are flat so that you can ride your bike in summer or have easy access driving during snowy winter months. We have a computer set for you to work if you must. There is also a Wi-FI router for your laptop convenience. We are here locally for you too. If you need anything, call and we are here to make your holiday fantastic. Looking forward to meeting you.

Renting in Al Tahoe is seriously the best place to be. You are minutes to everything. From our home you can walk to the lake, walk to get coffee, walk to the library, rec center, and ice rink. You are minutes away from both the Gondola and the California lifts at Heavenly. The street are flat so no worries of driving in the snow. The meadow nearby s called the Truckee marsh. It s an actual bird sanctuary with the Truckee river flowing in the middle. There are paths to walk along and enjoy true nature while at the same time seeing the lake. If you bring your family dog on your trip, the local Reagan beach is dog friendly and you can unleash your pet to enjoy the lake as well.Our home as described above is top notch and we try to provide you with everything you would want on your getaway. BE CAREFUL when renting this place

We arrived to find the house uninhabitable because the water was disconnected due to nonpaymenmt of the water bill. We called the owners four times in a 30 minute span. We received no call back and it was getting dark. Because we were traveling with our dog our choices were limited. We found a place about an hour away in Tahoe Donner. We left South Lake about 4:45, arrived in Truckee about 5:45, bought groceries, turned up the heat and settled in. The next day the owners of the S. Lake Tahoe rental contacted us and said the water was back on. We told them that we were settled in at Donner and did not wish to return. They said that they would refund one night's rent plus $100 for our trouble but we were contractually obligated for the remaining two nights because the problem was a matter beyond their control. We stated that nonpayment of a utility did not qualify as a matter beyond their control. They refused to make a refund. To date we have received no refund of any kind.
Owner response:The South Tahoe Public Utility District realized their mistake with disconnecting the water, this is why they came out the night the guests checked in at 11:30 pm to get the water turned back on. We contacted the guests that night not the next day. Once they had emailed me with the issue, Graham and I were on it. We offered to compensate for 1 night, pay for their gas to drive to Truckee, and dinner. They could have waited in the heated home, had dinner, watched a movie, enjoyed Tahoe,used the wifi anything..? I am crediting back to them the one night rate and cleaning. They said we would not discuss this anymore during the Holiday period so I respected this and was hoping to talk after January 2, 2012. I apologize for the inconvenience that the Utility Company created but we remedied the situation that night-not the next day. Your 1 night refund is being credited. Their choice to not return was their choice as they stated they had a friend give them a free place to stay. We went above and beyond what we offered to compensate for 5 hours of no water. Please view our other reviews to show that we are always there for our guests and always will be.

I spent three days and after walking around the neighborhood I can say that this cabin is probably one of the best. No rear neighbors, walking distance to a beautful marsh, very open living, nice furniture, great size tv and lots of coziness. I felt at home and it was a wonderful stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Had a great Thanksgiving holiday! The views were beautiful. Lots of things to do in town,which was minutes away. Even saw a bear! Only thing we didn't have we're washcloths. There were plenty of towels. The hot tub was great! The owners were just a phone call away and available to answer any questions. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Jill & Graham are very nice people to deal with and very responsive. We stayed for 8 days. The location is perfect..short walk to the beach..gorgeous view off both decks and lots of wildlife. The layout is great. Kids can sleep downstairs while the adults have their br on the upper level off the great room.

This was an awesome place to stay... Jill and Graham Sanders were very professional and pleasant . When we got their, their was a problem with the kitchen but they fixed it as a soon as possible took us extra fans for the heat and just where on top of things. It was a a pleasure to do business with them differently will be doing business with them again. house is as they advertise it 2 bathrooms and an additional bathroom no doors but definitely someone can stay their. house had everything we needed it was nice and clean... Great View to lake and also bears...LOl. thank You... had an amazing time in Lake Tahoe and enjoyed the house a lot. Big Plus ++++ they had a high chair that came very handy for my 2 year old princess....

Our stay at this beautiful home was absolutely wonderful. Our family of five and our Great Dane stayed at Pure Tahoe. The house has tons of ambience, leather sofas, wood floors and views of the forest and meadow. I stayed and read by the fire while my husband and three sons skied. The walks in the meadow with the dog were gourgeous! It is so nice when vacationing to have a well equipped kitchen to feed 4 guys. Helps you save $$'s The location is close to everything you want to do in Tahoe. We will definitely stay again! Thank you Sanders!

My wife, dog and I had a great vacation at Puretahoe. The house is in a fantastic location backing to the woods and a refreshing short walk to the lake. We loved hanging out here, sitting in the hot tub overlooking the woods, skiing at Heavenly and the close shopping/nightlife that South Lake Tahoe provides. Our 11 month old Labrador enjoyed the stay thoroughly as well and it was a joy to watch him frolic in the snow/ walks to the lake. We did have some unforeseen circumstances during our stay. A bad storm severely affected power in the city for more than 24 hours. However Jill and Graham being local, were extremely hospitable and helpful, going above and beyond what was expected of them. I am not sure what we could have done had they not been there to help out. Highly recommended stay and much gratitude to the Sanders family.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at your beautiful house during the Thanksgiving holiday. We were lucky enough to see it snowing early in the season and the views from the very large deck and windows were magical. We loved the location, esp being a short walk to the lake and vistas. The house was very comfortable, and is larger and more roomy than the pictures show. It was beautiful to watch the snow from the large living room windows. The many upgrades and special touches throughout the house were superb, you really thought of everything!!! It was lovely, and we would love to come back soon. Thank you also for the very nice Italian bottle of wine! P.S. Our dogs loved it, and the kids had a blast!!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It was comfortable and well maintained. Close to the Casino's and bike trails. The kitchen was well equiped, and there were upgrades throughout the house.....two flat screen T.V.'s, hot tub, hardwood floors, etc. The owners were very attentive and had thought out every detail. I would highly recommend staying here! We will be back.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home which included a lot of great amenities. I especially enjoyed the second floor balcony which had a fantastic view of the back woods and nearby lake. We truly felt at home during our week stay and will definitely consider Jill's accommodations when we return. Hopefully very soon, we love South Lake Tahoe!
