This three-bedroom cabin, nestled on Treasure Island on Lake Vermilion, sits 20 feet from the waterfront and some of Lake Vermilion's best fishing. Newly remodeled, with windows along the entire front, the cabin is open to the beauty of the water and its wildlife.
While the cabin is small enough for a family, it is large enough for small business groups. It has all the amenities to feel like home, but the solitude of life on an island. It is secluded enough to enjoy the solitude, but close enough to town to enjoy shopping and numerous tourist attractions. Come and enjoy the serenity of one of Minnesota's beautiful vacation destinations!
This cabin is located just a very short boat ride (2 minutes) from a private parking lot on the mainland. We would be happy to meet you and direct you to the cabin when you arrive. Shuttle service is also available. There is also another cabin on the island that can be rented if you have a large group.

Upon arrival we were imediatly impressed with every aspect of the cabin. Pictures on the website do not do it justice! With the cabin being on an island and not having to deal with a "check in"(like a resort), it felt like we were actually at our own northwoods get away. The massive front picture window with a reclining sofa looking out at the lake was one of our favorite places to sit and take it all in. Especially at night with the moon and stars reflecting off the lake. Funny how they just don't look the same out my front window... Gas grill on back (covered) deck made it possible to grill when ever we wanted. Kitchen had everything we needed, large bathroom with washer and dryer, everything was perfect. Humming bird feeder outside of kitchen window was pretty neat. One hour after we filled it up they started coming around. Had deer walk around cabin in the early mornings. Cabin spoiled us so bad that we don't ever want to stay at a resort ever again! Hopefully we will continue to make it "Our Northwoods Getaway".Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Additional information about rental rates
Cabin rate is based on 6 people. Additional people are $50/week for ages 0-6, $100/week for ages 7-18 and $150/week for ages over 18.
If you are paying by check, we require the whole balance two weeks prior to your arrival. If you are paying by credit card, we charge your card one week prior to your arrival.
Additional Fees and Taxes:
There is a $500 deposit required to hold the cabin. We accept either check, visa or mastercard. We also require that you sign a rental agreement. Deposit is returned with a cancellation at least 60 days prior to the reservation or we are able to re-book the cabin. Cabin rental is subject to a 10% tax. Pets are $200 per week. Rates based on 6 people.
