This vacation rental home located in Venice, Florida is a beautiful 2000 square feet, 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath, single family home which will sleep six with a large in-ground caged heated pool, with the most spectacular view overlooking a lake and five fairways of the golf course on a quiet cul-de-sac.
A computer & printer connected to high-speed broadband Internet service are in the house.
The Master Bath has a handicapped accessible shower. Freshly painted, beautifully decorated with new furniture. Pet and smoke free. All the comforts of home wiht a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. 8 golf courses within 10 minutes from house.
Recreation Activities: The City of Venice operates six public tennis courts, well-lit for evening play in downtown Venice, and two at a nearby county park. There are also numerous public and private clubs which offer clay and hard court tennis. There are about a dozen golf courses in the area. The Venice Fishing Pier, located behind Sharky's Restaurant, is an ideal place for inshore fishing. For the more-adventurous angler, however, charter operations abound. Summer is an ideal time to catch tarpon in nearby Boca Grande Pass, one of the most exciting fishing spots in all of Florida.

From the moment we entered we were pleasantly surprised at how much at home we felt. We were a party of six and had ample room for everyone, plus more had we needed it. The home was nicely decorated and very clean.There was local info posted on the frig and any #'s we might need to contact the owner for maintenance. The pool was a big hit for the entire family, well maintained and clean. We enjoyed watching the golfers and the beautiful birds. The beaches aren't too far , a 10 to 15 mins. drive. I would recommend this home to families with school aged children or teens because of the split bedroom floor plan.Shopping and restuarants were close. The pictures do not do justice to this beautiful home. The bedrooms were large and comfortably furnished. The great room- kitchen/dining/living room were lined with doors that slide completely open for an indoor/outdoor living experience that cannot be surpassed. Be sure to stop in before doing your shopping as the house is extremely well stocked with necessities and luxury items. All communications and contact with the owner were courteous and timely. A very smooth process. They were willing to accommodate our mid week check in. Thank you for sharing you'd beautiful home with us. Great property in quiet area to spend wonderful time. Fully equipted house with walking distance to shops and supermarkets. Owners, very profesional with accurate answers to all the questions. Strongly recomend to anyone who is looking to go out on vacation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

we stayed at this wonderful home in august 2008. It was clean, airy, and spacious. the pool (sparkling clean) was a hit with the two teens, the only thng that got them out of the pool was to talk to their friends via the net on the computer. hubby loved the sat tv. i appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and full sized washer and dryer. THE VIEW from the enclosed lanai was priceless; birds, turtles, 'gators (very small), and golfers (who seem to lose pleanty of balls in the canal - and provide plenty of entertainment as a result.) were all visitors to the canal that flows right past the back yard. THE LOCATION: we all loved the fact the beaches were just a short drive away. plenty of choices for shopping, eating, beaches and they are all close.(even wal-mart is just 5 min. down the road.) it's central location is a plus if you plan to sample florida's best attractions. young ones love "jungle gardens" in sarasota -it's a hoot. myakka state park is a must for gator sightings via the airboat. THE BUSINESS part of the deal was SMOOTH. from start to finish it was a pleasure to deal with russ. POINTERS look for the binders that sit on the bookcase in the great room for: menus, attraction info, and so much more. THE DOWNSIDE: having to leave so soon. TO russ and his lovely wife: thank you so much we loved it. TO YOU: take a chance you will be glad you did. i would not endorse this property if it was lacking in any way.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
