A Garden of Eden surrounds this dog friendly, 3 bedroom, three bath cozy cape just minutes from Pleasant Bay's Jack Knife Beach, Ryder's Cove and School House Pond. Two small fish ponds with water falls provide both amusement and pleasant sounds. The rose garden with an oyster bed walk is centered by a fountain and surrounded by perrenials and flowering shrubs and Hydrangeas.
A Large 16 foot bay window provides views of the gardens and fishponds from the large fireplaced living room. The tiled spacious atrium with its sky lights and large windows looks out onto a deck, ideal for breakfasting or sunning, with great views of the rose garden. The Dining room with an eight foot dining table is ideal for those lobster dinners. For the cook there is a fully stocked gourmet kitchen. A deck for sunbathing and brick patio for barbecuing. 2nd floor sports a skylighted master BR with king bed and double seated shower and steam shower. The guest room has a four poster queen bed with its own bath/shower. 3rd BR is on the main floor and has two twin beds, and its own full bath and shower. Each room is adorned with the artist's own floral portraits Conveniently located, 3 miles from downtown, and wonderfully peaceful. Lots of birds, including our favorite Baltimore Orioles.
All lead to a vacation experience of private relaxation and fun with convenient access to child friendly swimming, boating,tennis, golfing, bicycling and more.

We fell in love with Chatham even before we settled in to our home thirteen years ago. It has a special distinctive character, from the charming downtown, special shops, great restaurants, Friday night band concerts, spectacular beaches and recreation facilities, create a very special living environment.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The gardens and the Coi ponds with peaceful trickling water sounds provide daily enjoyment and amusement. The tranquility enables one to enjoy the sounds and colors of a wide variety of birds that seem to enjoy the gardens as much as we do. There is nearly always a rose to be picked, or a dahlia, and a truly amazing variety of plant life for the botanist /horticulturist to enjoy.
Like walks? Fox Hill road provides scenic views for bike riding or walking
The Town Schools provide 10 Beautifully maintained tennis courts available on a first come fist served basis. Seniors play Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and welcome visitors.
Just a short distance away is the local movie theater, Stop and shop, CVS and a variety of small shops.
Chatham's Down town area provides beautque Shopping, restaurants, and a real 1950 parada every fourth of July. Friday nightws feature a band at the band stand with music for young and old

Mary Lou and I fell in love with this property for its wonderful gardens and the spacious, sun filled atrium. Once we moved in, we had the kitchen completely remodelled to suit our gourmet cooking requirements, We added a large twelve foot bay window in the living room so that we could better enjoy the gardens. Wanting lots of light, we added sky lights. Being master gardeners ourselves, we have added flowers and shrubs. These have become the source of the art work that decorates almost all the walls creating a colorful and tasteful decor that all our visitors enjoy.

Your home is wonderful, and it was a perfect fit for our family....The "Garden of Eden" reference is well-deserved, especially the way you brought the garden into the house with your incredible flower photography. We also appreciate the comfortable and attractive furnishing, appointments and extra comforts of home. We felt more like house guests than tenants....Thank you for making it so special.
