Come and experience the serenity and charm of this 18th century church situated on the magnificent Bay of Chaleur. The Bay of Chaleur has been nominated by UNESCO as one of the most beautiful bays in the world. This peaceful fishing community is located in northern New Brunswick, Canada and offers those in search of a tranquil vacation an opportunity to connect with the past and enjoy the calming effect of the sea at your door. All the amenities of a large city, an airport and a world class golf course are available within a twenty minute drive.
The church has been refurbished to accommodate one or two couples with a queen bed upstairs and a pull-out queen sofa in the living room. Both rooms offer a view of the ocean and the luxury of going to sleep and waking to the sound of the waves. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, stove and small appliances. It also has a two piece bathroom on the lower level and a larger three piece bath on the second floor.
The deck overlooking the sea has a magnificent vista of the Atlantic Ocean and access to a secluded beach. The church comes equipped with a barbecue, patio furniture and an outdoor fireplace for those evenings when you don’t want the day to end.
The French Acadian Peninsula is rich with history and culture and this beautiful little church by the sea is a symbol of the rural community of days gone by. We welcome you to the shores of the Bay of Chaleur and the comfort and harmony of the Church by the Sea.
