Welcome to WindDrift and the most secluded beachfront condo in Orange Beach. One mile of state park immediately to the west promises you a beautiful beach which is never crowded. There is a spectacular ocean view from the living room and master bedroom. From the front door you can view the bay and Ono Island. Watch the sunset from the 6th floor balcony on a cool winter evening and see dolphins putting on a show in the early mornings.
WindDrift has two pools, lighted tennis courts, boat/jet ski parking and a pier with boat/jet ski slips for renters use at our site across the street. Crabbing and fishing are fun experiences. Most of the units at WindDrift are non-rentals and all owners take extra pride in their home away from home.
This condo has been completely redecorated in a comfortable coastal motif. Both bathrooms have lovely faux painted walls with double sinks in the master bath. Hand-painted chairs and stools add a custom touch to the dining room area. The spacious balcony affords plenty of room to enjoy breakfast or a memorable sunset accompanied by the sounds of the waves. This is a great place for an afternoon nap if someone else has claimed the recliner in the living room.
Catch a glimpse of the Blue Angels, walk along the beach to the FloraBama for an evening of music, see the turtles hatch in August, drive over to Fort Morgan and catch the ferry to Dolphin Island or just plan to relax and enjoy the white sandy beach and the amazing sparkle of the emerald waters.

We stayed back in May 2011 and will be going down again this next week, early October 2011. Its exactly as described, exceeded my expectations in many ways and is a great place to stay. Beds are comfortable, linens clean. Owners care and it shows. I was selfishly reluctant to give a review because it may make the condo more unavailable to me, but i just have to say how much we like it in fairness to the owners. For avid fishermen, across the road there is one of the few fish cleaning stations in the area (with running water) in the sister complex by the boat docks , the beach fishing is good, pass fishing is too so you WILL need it!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway.

The owners were very easy to book with and gave all needed information clearly and ahead of time. We had a wonderful time in this condo. The weather was wonderful. The condo was exactly as stated. It was well maintained and clean. It was very comfortable, well stocked and the location is great. We saw dolphins every morning, the fish were feeding and the rays were swimming. The beach was not crowded and the view is magnificent from the balcony. This complex allows easy access to restaurants or grocery stores. Thanks for letting us enjoy a restful few days! Will most certainly be back.

We absolutely loved at our stay at Beauty and the Beach!!!! The condo was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the gentle ocean breezes. It was lovingly maintained, very clean and spacious. The perfect spot for our getaway!!! The owners were wonderful to work with and it was a seamless transaction. The beach was perfect for our stay in late February with crystal clear waters and a sparkling sugar -spun sandy beach. Also, it was very close to great outlet shopping in Foley (which even has a Chico's and White House- Black Market), and great restaurants. The redfish at Cosmos, and fried crab claws at Sea and Suds are AWESOME! We absolutely loved our condo and will definitely be back next year!!!!

After staying at this condo for several years I would recommend it to anyone. The owners are very easy to work with and are very helpful answering questions about the property and the area. The location is unique next to the state park andthe beach here is never crowded. The balcony is such a wonderful place early in the morning to watch the dolphins swim. Everything is very clean and well stocked. The listing description is very accurate and the property very well maintained. We will continue to come back year after year. The beach is beautiful and the condo is like a home away from home. Also plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby and shopping if desired.

Your beautiful condo was exactly as pictured on the VRBO site. We thought the recliner was the best surprise until we actually saw dolphins early in the morning on our next to the last day here. We love WindDrift and this condo; we will be back in 2011.
