Our weekend could not have been better. Being able to go straight in and not have to deal with any check-in process was so easy. You really feel like you are at home there. Janice has thought of everything. It was all so clean and nice. The location was great, very secure, and safe. Close enough to go into town but far away enough for peace and quiet. We ate out one night and stayed in and cooked the last night. The gas grill was great and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever need. It snowed the whole weekend and sitting in the hot tub watching it snow was so relaxing. The view off the balcony was breathtaking. It looked like we were inside a snowglobe The only thing I would have changed was the 10am check out time. My husband and I are so spoiled now by Janice we couldn't imagine going anywhere else for our yearly kid-free weekend.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had to cancel our trip at the last minute. The Owner at this property was very understanding and immediately refunded our entire payment to her. It is good to do business with good people! TY for allowing us to spend our honeymoon in your lovely cabin. Sometimes you see pics of a place on internet and when you get there are disappointed. This is NOT the case here. It is exactly how pics show everything. It was perfect for us. Only issue, bit tricky parking bike on slant. LOL Wish I could say that was only issue on most vacations. We managed fine. Every night in the hot tub. And the bed. OMG I have never slept so sound. Most comfortable bed we ever slept in. You must let us know where you found that bed. I can't say enough how we enjoyed your cabin. Close to town, but out of traffic and noise. Hot tub and deck so secluded...Other cabins next to you.. But set up for complete privacy. If anyone comparing this to other cabins... There is no comparison in setting or value. The let yourself in after long ride there was wonderful. No resort check in hassles.:):) TY again for being a special part of our HONEYMOON and making it something we will always remember with a SMILE. We found this cabin by accident as it was referenced in a review on another that we were considering. We are so glad that we found it! The cabin is adorable and romantic. It is very, very clean and beautifully decorated. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway! We will definitely be back again......we wouldn't even consider anywhere else. In addition, Janice is wonderful to work with! 5 STARS!!!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We spent a week in this immaculate and beautiful cabin in mid-August! We found the location on the cabin perfect because it was close enough to Gatlinburg but far away that you felt like you were away from the bustle of the town. It is also perfectly located to access the National Park!!! It is nicely equipped with kitchen necessities. We ended up cooking 5 of the 6 nights...the grill was a bonus too! We LOVED the decor of the place, especially the bears...and if you have time, count how many there are!!! The day before we left we got engaged so we spent our engagement enjoying the facility!!!! My favorite item was the hot tub whereas my fiance's was the giant arcade game! Our high points were our nightly visits from the raccoons! They were just as entertained by us as we were by them! Gatlinburg recommendations: Smoky Mountain National Park (Cade's Cove), The Ripley Aquarium, downtown Gatlinburg shops, Ober Gatlinburg sky ride, Zip Lining, and Horseback Riding!!! We have already booked our honeymoon in October 2012 in this facility and couldn't imagine spending it anywhere else!!! As long as it is available to rent, we will be coming back again and again!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful time in Gatlinburg. Your cabin is beautiful and was so perfect for us. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen and relaxing in the jacuzzi. Our honeymoon was filled with unforgettable mountain memories! We hiked several trails to Mt. Le Conte and even part of the Appalachian trail. The views were beautiful! This cabin is perfect. Just wanted a place to stay while we went to the Bristol race and then some vacation for a few days after the race. It was close to everything we wanted to do. Ms. Janice was easy to work with as we our son decided to come up and go to the race a week before we left. Ms. Janice didn't mind him and his buddy staying 2 nights with us. The decor is awesome and has a1980's free play video game that brought back a lot of memories. The king bed sleep great. Kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of towels for the bathroom. Highly recommend staying here and looking forward to coming back next year.Recommended for: Age 55+.

This cabin is perfect! It has everything that you would want for a great get-away. We loved everything this cabin had to offer and the no hassle check-in was great. The cabin is beautifully decorated and smells good, too! It's great after a long day out and about, to come back to this cozy cabin. This was our second time staying at Mountain Memories. Janice was so kind and accommodating to us. She had a new cabin in Pigeon Forge that we went to first for something different, but we really missed this one where we spent our honeymoon. Since she didn't have anyone here past the first weekend, she let us move to Mountain Memories and waived the extra cleaning fee! This cabin is so nice and has just about everything you could need or want. A hot tub AND a large jacuzzi, a gas fireplace (which she turned on for us even though it was not the season for it yet). It is close enough to Gatlinburg and a trolley stop (so you don't have to park downtown), yet quite secluded in the beautiful trees on a mountain. You can spend a LOT of time looking around for the best deal or perfect cabin, but seriously, you are not going to find a better deal than this. Well worth the price and full of memories! You will not regret staying here at all, and you will not find a better person to work with than Janice.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Wow is all I can say about the Log Cabin and its location. My husband was hospitalized and couldn't make the trip so he suggested I take my 2 sister in laws so we didn't loose our money. Well the 3 women got there on Sunday, July 11th and stayed until Saturday July 17th, 2010. We had the best time and just loved the area, cabin, hot tub, and pool. We met alot of other people and had fun everyday we where there. We went shopping, of course, and we all couldn't wait to get back and get to the pool or just hang out on the deck. We didn't see any bear but the last day we were there a raccoon decided to pay us a visit on the back deck. It climb down and went on its way after we banged on the door. I would suggest this cabin to everyone who is looking for a weekend get away, a honeymoon, or just time to be away from the hussle and bussle of everyday life. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your cabin, Mr.and Mrs. McKinyon. Hopefully next year hubby will be well enough to travel and him and I can return. I choose this location because of the convenience to all the area locations. i love the being away from everything in the quiet peaceful surroundings. you actually have bears come out sometime in the afternoon in search of food. they don't bother anyone and nobody advances on the bear in anyway , but you can get some good pictures. i did get a great picture of the bear looking in the big dumpster as you come in. this area is fantastic and i feel so at peace when i am here. i would recommend it to anyone.
