  We planned this trip to Cabo to ecsape the never ending Colorado winter and hectic planning of our September wedding. We met our good friends from California there, and the accomodations were perfect for four people. The minute we walked into Paula and Dave's condo, I was overcome with pure bliss and relaxation. The view of El Zalate grounds from the condo through the large slidding doors, which you open into the walls, was so welcoming. I fell asleep everynight to sounds of the ocean. We met so many nice people at El Zalate, the security and grounds staff were all very kind. The pool area was clean and lots of lounge chairs to spend the day on. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. The beach is big, with few people on it. We walked down to Zippers restaurant for dinner one night and enjoyed watching the surfers while we ate on the large deck. Other nights we cooked dinner at the condo, enjoying the added bouns of a great grill. We ate on the lovely lanai, accompanied by the pleasant breeze from the beach. There a plenty of places to grab groceries that are within walking distance. Trader Dicks was very close and friendly folks! The Mega grocery store was about a 15 minute walk, and with four of us we easily carried our groceries back. We took the bus into Cabo San Lucas one day. The bus stop is right at the top of the driveway on the other side of the street! We were sad the trip ended so quickly. We will surely return, as this was a gem of a spot and Paula was so helping answering our questions prior to arrival.

  My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights at the end of Jan. 2013. The condo was all we could ask for, full kitchen, well stocked with dishes ,cutlery, utensils, and spices ,condiments and such left by other travellers. The b.b.q. on the large patio was great to do steak and a pork loin on and eat by the candlelight listening to the waves. Being on the ground floor it was easy access to the pools and hot tub or to walk on the beach. The location is walking distance to the Mega Mart (15 min.) for shopping or a $5.00 cab ride. The property is well maintained, safe and a pleasure to stay at. A lot of owners are here for extended periods during the winter which I believe helps to keep it great shape. This is a lovely place and I would stay at it again next time I needed a place in San Jose Del Cabo. There are alot of good restaurants close by or a quick taxi ride to downtown.

  Our 5 night stay at Paula's condo at El Zalate was perfect! The condo was exactly as pictured on VRBO, sparkngling clean with great appliances and all of the extra comforts of home. The ground floor location was ideal for us with two young kids. We have stayed at quite a few other places in the Cabo area and this was by far the best.

  First of all, Paula and Dave are easy to work with. The moment you walk through the front door of the condo you'll know that you have made the right choice. The ground floor condo has a wonderful view of the beautifully landscaped pool area and ocean. If you cook or like to BBQ you will find everything you need. One of the charming features of the condo is the large patio area thatis nicely furnished. You'll never get tired of watching the sun rise from the patio with a cup of coffee. This is my second stay at El Zalate and I enjoy it because it's quiet, beautifully landscaped, is located on a swim able beach, close to town and shopping. If you are there on a Friday and older gentleman and his grand daughter come around selling fresh fish and shrimp. It is fresh and priced considerably lower than the market. The white fish makes super fish tacos. Looking forward to my next visit.

  This is paradise! We were lulled to sleep at night by the sound of the sea and awakened each morning by birdsong to watch the sun come up over the Gulf of California. The well-appointed condo provided all the necessicities of life. Location in San Jose del Cabo was close to all amenities. We highly recommend this amazing get away.

  Comment Text: Comment Text: We have just stayed 10 days in Paula and Dave's beautiful condo. It's everything they said it would be. The furnishings are very well done, the kitchen is very well-stocked with utensils, etc. and the location on this property is really wonderful - just stroll onto the grounds, the pool area and the fabulous beach - all at your leisure. No stairs to bother with. Security level is just fine. The peroperty is quiet and there is a definite "feel" among the owners and renters - feels a lot like home! We would definitely stay here again and will certainly recommend it to our friends who may come this way. Thanks so much Paula and Dave - you've been very helpful indeed!

  Our 12 day stay at El Zalate was like a piece of paradise!! It was our 1st time to the Cabo area and we felt like we stayed at the perfect spot! Our 2 teenage girls were there for part of the time and loved it too! Being able to walk out to the fabulous pool area and then on the to beach were great!! We loved the patio for coffee in the morning, and a few meals we cooked...the BBQ and kitchen are wonderful!! The condo was immaculate and had lovely furnishings. The satellite TV was a bonus...I could go on and on!! Hope to go back! Jim and Kathy

  My husband and I, and our two children aged three and one stayed at El Zalate for 10 days at the end of November. It was absolutely fantastic. The condo was beautiful - very tastefully decorated, very clean and appropriate for small children. We really appreciated the small details like the beach toys! The pool and grounds were lovely too. We honestly couldn't have asked for more and would definitely return for another very relaxing holiday.

  My husband and I just returned from a glorious two week stay at this condominium. El Zalate is a beautiful complex and everything about this unit is exceptional. The ground floor location is ideally situated. It has a beautiful view of the grounds, ocean, pool area and spectacular sunrises while still affording a nice level of privacy. This condominium is very comfortable and is beautifully decorated. Paula and Dave have very thoughtfully considered the needs of their guests will all of the amenities that are included. When we return to Los Cabos we will definitely stay at this condominium. Thank you, Shelley & Brandon
