  Very clean and homey place to stay. Would recommend to any young or middle age family. Elderly may have difficulty with the step down from the parking area and up in to the house (my elderly mother did), but overall was a nice place to stay.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  The house was very clean easy to find, in the city and a very short work to a beautiful beach. The beds were comfortable. The house has a good layout for guest and entertaining people. We sat outside around a fire pit and had a great time.

  Stayed here for three nights with our one year old. The cottage was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed, even a box of toys that kept our little one happy on the beach and a baby gate at the top of the stairs. The beach access is excellent--less than half a block down the street. It's also walking distance to shops and restaurants at Rockaway beach. The owner responded quickly to my enquiries. I would rent this cottage again.

  The "Coastie" house was perfect for our young family of four (mom, dad, 2.5yo girl, 10wk baby girl). I did miss having a dishwasher but we managed :) The location is great and the cost was very reasonable. The major downside was a lack of screens on many of the windows, but I'd imagine that is normal for beach homes. It was great to have comfy living spaces and a fun selection of kid/family movies and board games. Made our laid-back family getaway even better. John is easy to work with and is very helpful. Definitely recommend this for other young families or a couple looking for a cozy home to rent.

  Nice getaway at the Oregon coast. Plenty of room for a family of four with our dog. Great starting point to a lot of lovely places in the area.

  We decided to spend a week here for our 4th of July vacation and it was wonderful! There were a lot of us (Adult, Children and our Dog) and there was so much room! The house was such a perfect location, clean, well supplied and even had "toys" for all ages! John was great to work with, Thank you John we had a terrific vacation!

  Great beach rental. I don't know where to begin with this great family(and pet) beach house. The owner was accurate in the description, flexible to work with and extremely helpful and accomodating. The house was clean and fresh for our arrival. No funky odors, not even a hint of previous guests about. No crumbs in the cushions or trash under the sofa or beds. This house is so well maintained that even the mattresses were brand new! Altho it is not oceanfront, you really are just steps away from the beach. Also close enough to tasty restaurants, the grocery store, bank and post office and 2 coffee stops with WiFi. The house itself is situated between Hwy101 and the beach but there isn't any highway noise and the sounds of the waves can be heard while enjoying the large deck or the private cozy patio. All in our group gave this house highmarks for being the quietest house we have ever rented. With adults with different sleeping patterns we all felt like we could get up and move about and not disturb others that are late sleepers or those that turn in early. For those of us looking for R&R this house is ideal. Fun to do as much as you like and truly peaceful rest when your ready to gear down. We also enjoyed that it was middle ground from Canon Beach to Tillamook. So much to like about this home.

  We had a great time staying at this rental in Rockaway. Perfect for the whole family including the animals....steps from the beach access make it perfectly located. It had a spacious floor plan with comfortable furnishings and was reasonably priced too! All amenities you will need at the beach are provided. Definitely recommended for a comfortable family vacation.
