This immaculate charming three bedroom cottage style house overlooks the golf course at Lake Almanor West. We are located near the private boat ramp and minutes from the 10 mile bike/walk trail along the lake. Our backyard is open and plenty of room for a game of croquet with your family or friends. The community park is within walking distance and has a playground, horseshoe pits, sandy beach, swim area, and BBQ's. The community has four tennis courts and a basketball court along with a private boat ramp. There are three golf courses in the area including the renowned, award winning eighteen-hole Bailey Creek Golf Course. Playable from April through mid-October, every hole has at least four sets of tees, including championship markers for long hitters. The gently rolling terrain boasts spacious landing areas, Penlink putting surfaces, tree lakes, a waterfall and a complete practice facility with natural grass hitting areas and putting greens. A new 7,000 square foot clubhouse offers a restaurant/bar, outdoor patios and full service pro shop.
Lake Almanor is known for water sports and fishing. Jet skis and boats are permitted on the lake and are available for rental nearby. Afternoon lake breezes make it fun to go sailing. There are excellent fly and troll fishing in the lake and surrounding rivers and streams. Hiking, backpacking, and horseback riding are locally available also. The surrounding forest provides miles of mountain biking, ATV, and four wheel drive opportunities.
Experience majestic Lassen Volcanic National Park only about 45 minutes away.
Conveniently located about 4 miles from the Chester airport for fly in ease.
