Downtown Top-Floor Condo in Missoula's Historic Wilma Theater
Year Purchased: 2007
Why the Owner Chose Missoula
Missoula, Montana is my hometown and feel very connected to this community. My family has lived in Western Montana for 4 generations and every single one of us has a memory from this building. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to be involved in the restoration of one of our states oldest and most famous landmarks. Plus, I'm very excited about the opportunities this rental has created for meeting new people and sharing this place I love so much.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Most everyone who stays here in the Wilma Condo comments on just how convenient and comfortable it is. A great amount of time and energy was spent designing this studio space to be very efficient and offer all of the amenities people are used to having at home. Many visitors park their cars (in the private lot) upon arrival and, because of the Wilma's central location, are then able to walk or bike around town for the majority of their stay. For the warmer months (May - September) there are several farmer's markets located near this location, including one that is just an elevator ride away. People love to grab a coffee and walk to the markets or catch a dinner/movie....all without ever leaving the building!
This, the Riverfront Lot, is open to you (with the included parking pass) when you stay at the Wilma Condo.
A 100% volunteer build carousel, located just steps from the Wilma. This is one of Missoula's landmark places and a must-see for your visit.
Host to hundreds of events every year, Caras Park is in the backyard of the Wilma Building and one can almost guarantee that something will be happening here while you are in town.
Missoula's vibrant riverfront includes miles of trail for running, biking, and walking.
A man-made standing wave in Downtown Missoula is located just outside the Wilma Building and offers endless fun for kayakers, surfers, and boogie boarders during the summer (and winter, for the hardco
The most heavily traveled trail in the state of Montana is found right here in Missoula and leads up the the concrete "M" found on the side of Mount Sentinel. Another Missoula "must-see".
Missoula's only indoor waterpark complete with splash decks, 2 waterslides and plenty of options for kids young and old.
A Children's Play Area that tops the charts for almost every child in the area.
Completed in 2006, this state-of-the-art skatepark has been listed as one of the "top 5" in the country.
Home of the UM Grizzly Football team. A short walk in the Fall months for the "Griz Nation" faithful that travel to this location for EVERY home game. When its full, the stadium's population becomes
Owner's Map of Missoula
I grew up here and love all that Western Montana has to offer. I feel very lucky to be able to live and work in my hometown surrounded by my family and friends. In late 2007, I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase this unit in the Wilma Building and spent the next 6 months designing and renovating it. Every square inch of this space is updated and I love sharing it with people from all over the world. I invite you to come see what Missoula looks like from the top-floor of the "The Wilma"....I think you'll find it as stunning as I do.

My husband and I enjoyed a three-night stay in the Wilma Condo and had a great time. The space has been renovated beautifully and Ross is an excellent host. He was incredibly responsive to the tiniest issue (remote batteries) and was super welcoming. We checked in after a very windy, icy day up at Snow Bowl and were just delighted to be there. You won't find a better location in down town Missoula. The view is stunning, the bed is cozy, the sheets are soft and the towels are fluffy. You can also walk to almost everything worth seeing. We can't wait to come back.
Owner response:Wow! Thanks guys...what a nice review. Hope to see you again soon. Take good care.

After a three-day stay, this is now my first choice for accomodations in Missoula. Super stylish condo in this city's most architecturally significant building. Great views of the mountains and the city. Surrounded by good restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. Walkable downtown location. Tons of amenities.

The Wilma Condo went above and beyond our expectations for a boutique rental. Such nice details inside, the view was incredible, and we loved how many nearby attractions (bakeries, restaurants, boutique stores, running trails, and the river) were within walking distance. It was the perfect getaway.

This Wilma condo is an excellent location while staying in Missoula. The views from the corner condo are wonderful, down town Missoula and its weekend markets are within walking distance, and the Clark Fork River trails are beautiful. Ross has thought all the needs for a visitor in a highly efficient and attractive place, and is available for any questions. I stayed here 3 years ago, and again this fall for 2 seeks, and would again in the future.
Owner response:Thank you! So glad you have enjoyed your stays here at the Wilma Condo. Hope to see you around Missoula!

The Wilma Condo is perfect for that little get-away to Missoula. Ross has thought of everything and provided you with all the comforts you might need away from home. The condo is very well designed, clean, in a great location, and very easy to use as a home base during your comings and goings enjoying all Missoula has to offer. It's the perfect space for two people, but if need be, there is a pull out futon for an additional sleeper (in my opinion, that might be a little cramped though). Also, bring ear plugs just in case you might be easily awakened as I am. Sometimes the street noise below when the bars let out can be a little loud. I highly recommend staying here! Thanks Ross!
Owner response:Thanks Anna! Glad you had a nice stay here in Missoula. I forgot to mention that if you turn the locking latches on the windows, it seals the windows up tighter and drowns out a majority of the 2AM outside noise...but earplugs do that too I guess. :) Thanks! Ross

My husband and I were orgionally going to book our four day stay in Missoula, with a hotel chain. We came across a review for the Wilma condo in dowtown Missoula. Are we so glad we did and decided on the Wilma for our stay in Missoula. First, Ross, is just an outstanding host! He was always available in case we had questions, before and during our stay!! We cannot say enough about him!! The condo itself is fantastic!! The condo has views of the river walk park, and of course, the infamous "M" on the mountain side!! The condo has everything one needs, the only thing you will need to bring is food, if you decide to cook, or, snacks to munch on. We walked everyhwere, downtown, the river walk park and the campus. The town of Missoula is the most friendlist, laid back, true small college town! Make sure you stop in at the Uptown Diner (about 2 blocks) from the condo. Great food, awesome shakes, and the service is outstanding. If you are looking for a unique experience, and don't want to stay in the same old same old hotel room, we highly recommend the Wilma condo!!! We cannot wait to go back!! And we will! Thank you so much Ross for our incredible stay!!!

Although it was a working trip...there is nothing better than staying somewhere you feel at home. Felt like I was coming home at night to my own cool place. Birdseye view of downtown Missoula and views of the mountains and river...Caras park...Space is so perfectly planned out...spotless...fluffy towels...bath essentials supplied...and the most comfortable pillows! Downstairs is Scotty's Table...just an elevator ride down to your evening glass of wine... I love the Wilma and this condo was tops in my book!
Owner response:Thank you Dinah! You were a pleasure to host....hope to see you in Missoula again sometime soon.
