Pros * Nice spacious 2 bedroom condo * Large Furnished Balcony * Full amenities including washer and dryer in unit * Short walk to Grace Bay Beach on path through Ocean Club West Resort * Complimentary use of all facilities at both Ocean Club West and Ocean Club * Walking distance to many restaurants and the Graceway Gourmet Grocery Store Cons * Unit located on 3rd floor with no elevator * Balcony faces street which is busy and noisy * Floors were very dirty upon check-in * Booked a mid-week clean but no one showed up. * Cleaning service arrived at 10:30am morning of check out and started to clean while we were still trying to pack up. Overall I would recommend this condo. Correspondence with owner was very good. She is very thorough and particular with details. We will definitely consider this unit if we return to Turks and Caicos.

Wonderful week in Paradise!!

What a paradise!! The beaches are breathtaking, the people so very pleasant and helpful and in a laid back atmosphere. This was the perfect place for our "spring break" this year and our first trip to Turks and Caicos. The apartment was even nicer than the photos show- large size bedrooms and baths and the kitchen was well equipped as we ate several meals there. It was spotless when we arrived. We enjoyed sitting on the patio at night--and when the sun came us as well. The location was absolutely perfect--restaurants and a lovely grocery store within walking distance. We took full advantage of the amenities offered--rode bikes all over the island, played tennis, enjoyed the incredible beach during the day and at sunset and the pool was quiet and relaxing. The grill there is the best we have cooked on in a rental situation and we used it 2-3 times. We also rented a car for 3 days at a rental office right next door and even attended a wine reception at the art gallery there. The owner Louise was so delightful to deal with and made our arrangements stress free. We now think of her as a good friend. Thanks again for our lovely stay. We would certainly like to return someday!!

When I asked my kids what to say in a review of this condo, they told me to write that it was awful so it would be available when we want to book it again next year. This was everything my family of four had hoped for in a vacation. The condo was just as described -- clean, well situated (close to beach, grocery, restaurants and shopping although who needs to shop when you're in the Caribbean) -- it had everything we needed and wanted. We not only want to return to Provo, we want to stay in Louise's condo again. I'm very picky and this was a total success. The only small downsides are things other reviewers have mostly mentioned: the balcony overlooks a busy road but we loved having the outdoor space nonetheless; the beds are a little lumpy and creaky but we slept well enough; and in the main bedroom there's a really bright light right outside the window which required us to rig up some light-blocking beach towels. Otherwise, perfection. Truly, we loved it and we hope to return next year -- IF it's available after everyone reads all these great reviews.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

What a wonderful condo! Exactly as described in the write up. The property was clean and modern. Louise, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. She responded quickly to all emails, and provided all the detail we needed to confidently arrive. The location was amazing, steps from the beach. And being able to use the Ocean Club amenities: Tennis Courts, Pool, Bikes, Beach Towels, even better. Shopping right around the corner, as well as the grocery store. Would recommend to anyone.

We were so very pleased with our stay at this lovely condo in Ocean Club West. The condo is exactly as advertised - clean, comfortable, well equipped and a perfect home away from home. The air conditioning works very well, but is often not needed due to the balmy breezes. The condo is a short stroll to the tennis courts, pool and the wonderful beach, where there are plenty of umbrellas and chairs set up. There is also a good restaurant poolside - over the week, we ate a breakfast, lunch and dinner there, and each meal was enjoyable. The resort provides towels, which is great and cuts down on laundry. There is a fabulous French bakery across the street, and many restaurants close by. As well, there is a gourmet grocery just a few minutes away. The location is perfect, and the weather is too. The owner provides excellent service and has good staff on the island - we were greeted at the airport, which was a nice touch. I would highly recommend this condo. We can't wait to return again!

My husband and I have never been to this island, We were very stumped about where to stay when our daughter told us about VRBO. From the first email exchange with Louise I was hooked. Once we arrived at the airport things just got better. There was a woman holding a sign with our name on it - lovely lady and we caught up with her again after a nice ride in a taxi van with other vacationers. We quickly learned why folks from Key West and the Bahamas were coming here for vacation. What a terrific, low-key tropical vacation. The apartment was spotless and within walking distance to a grocery store, multiple restaurants, gift shops and the best coffee shop with french pastries. The restaurant at the property would have been enough - good food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. We throughly enjoyed the Monday night reception where we first tasted the free appetizers and the great rum punch. I spent the days between the ocean beach chairs and lounging at the pool. We each read a book from the "library" in the lobby and really relaxed. The closet had a cooler and family orientated stuff (high chair,etc) but it was just the two of us and there was tons of space. Thank you Louise for sharing your home with us. I really appreciated the ease with which the rental arrangements were made and I have never forgotten how "at-home" you made us feel It was a great vacation and my sister and brother-in-law will be contacting you as they want to go later this year.

We just returned from a weeks holiday in Grace Bay and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the ocean club plaza apartment. We were there for a week at the start of May, the weather was perfect nearly every day. The location of the apartment was brilliant. It was close enough to walk to a variety of restaurants and less than a 5 minute walk to the pool and beach. One restaurant suggestion, we went to mango reef and loved it. Setting was right on the beach and the food was amazing. One thing to consider about food, it is an island and food is pricey. It was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen at our disposal. The apartment was very clean and modern. Louise was wonderful to work with, she and her on island manager were helpful in answering any questions we had. Overall, the trip was a great success!

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Wonderful Condo, Great Resort For Families

We had a wonderful time! The condo is exactly as pictured; nicely decorated and well appointed with everything needed. The kitchen had a lot of utensils, plates, etc. and everything was in tip top shape. As noted in other reviews, the condo is in the Plaza at the Ocean Club West which is extremely close to the beach and pool -- just a short walk (5 minutes) through the small parking lot. The balcony faced the street which was slightly busy, but not terribly so. The windows are sound-proof, therefore it was never a problem -- the bedrooms are not on the street side and are quiet. The grocery store is nearby and the resort lends bikes to make the trip even shorter. The only drawback we found was the quality of the queen mattress. It is extremely soft; and, while we aren't overweight and don't suffer from back issues, we did find it to be uncomfortable. A bed rail for one of the twin beds would be a great addition -- the twin beds can be pushed together, but there is one side that remains a worry for the kids falling out onto the tile floor. We improvised by laying our suitcases by the bed on one size to create a soft landing if needed! In general though, Louise has thought through everything else needed for younger kids it seems. All in all, our stay there was terrific and we would gladly return. Thanks Louise for outfitting your condo so well!

Great Condo, Great Resort - AWESOME BEACH!

We were not sure what to expect on our first trip to Provo. But the HomeAway Rental ad is right on the mark. The condo is very nice. Perfect for a family or just a couple. The bedrooms were comfortable and are a very nice size with ceiling fans. The condo has AC but we never needed it. The bathrooms where clean and very nice with corner glass showers. YES there are two full bathrooms! The kitchen is well equipped and the living room is great for an afternoon nap out of the sun. The balcony is large and we had breakfast out there every morning. Very nice even though its street side. The Ocean Club West resort is beautiful. It is on the best part of Grace Bay. The beach I could go on and on about. You are a small walk through the resort to the beach. You are close to some great restaurants and shopping. The Grocery store is about 5 mins walk away. Make sure you utilize the resorts amenities, tennis, bikes, fitness club and the gorgeous winding pool with little bridges! Oh and Silver Deep downstairs from the condo, you can book awesome excursions just a few steps away. So much to talk about. I could go on and on. We had a memorable trip. Gorgeous weather, beautiful beach and a great condo at a decent rate. If you want a comfortable, clean condo on a wonderful resort with a pristine beach with unbelievable turquoise water? This is the place to book. Believe me you will not be disappointed. Thank you Louise, we hope to visit again really soon! I only wish it was tomorrow!!!

First trip to Provo - Great condo!!!

This condo is great. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. We had access to everything at the resort as the other guests..beach towels, chairs, gym, etc. Very short walk to the beach. The condo is located above a small plaza that faces Grace Bay Road. Access to the condos is on the resort side. The bedrooms face the resort side so there was never an issue with road noise. Short walk down the road you will find shopping, deli, bakery and restaurants. There was a whole closet full of beach towels, snorkel gear, cooler etc. Louise arranged to have the property manager meet us at the airport who we followed back to the condo. We were told by many people that the beach in this section of Grace Bay is the best. I would agree! Thank you Louise for arranging such a nice stay for us!

Condo is EXACTLY as described and photos are accurate. Condo is nicely decorated and all amenities are provided. Bed and pillows provided were very comfortable, we had an excellent nights sleep. The condo size for our family of 4 was more than adequate. Bonuses are the condo is close to pretty much everything - restaurants, beach, IGA grocery store. Condo has the downtown feel with the traffic on the one side, and yet close to pool and beach. We utilized all the amenities - tennis courts, and fitness centre. Restaurants nearby and on Ocean Club West were very satisfactory for our family. Only cons were the pool is not heated, and the road below can be a little noisy. Louise was a very gracious host, she even provided a bottle of champagne for our new years celebration. Our family would definately return.

We have made it back to Halifax safe and sound to a foot of snow. We miss Provo. We loved the well equipped condo , the space and proximity to everything . Grace Bay is the most beautiful beach we have seen thus far in our travels.It was one our better sun vacations. We will be back for sure. Thanks so much Lucy and Lawrence
