FYI - Palmas Del Mar Resort & Country Club is the best vacation resort in Puerto Rico and many say the entire Caribbean. There are two challenging 18 hole golf courses with unbelievable ocean and beach views - Ree's Jones Jr. and Gary Player design, 20 tennis courts - 4 are clay, 25 fine restaurants (sushi bar), horseback riding, golf cart paths throughout Palmas, of course 3 1/2 miles of tropical coconut lined "sun bathing" beach, the famous Bohio Bar and Grill which by the way is walking distance from your villa, surfing, (in front of the Bohio) snorkeling up the beach and or visit Vieques island, El Yunque Rain Forest, Para-sailing, world famous off shore deep sea fishing, local brackish ponds offer lake locked "huge" tarpon and schnook fishing, beach shoreline fishing, bird watching, adventure trails through lush designated green area's with "resident tropical birds", Four Season Hotel and Casino, (also walking distance from villa) and if your a runner the golf cart trails and beach are flat and very run-able. Must not forget the simple but fun "combing" the beaches for shells, coral reef and who knows you might find a washed up pirate gold piece....
