We had a wonderful family vacation here over Labor Day. The location was great for floating the Rogue, watching wildlife and enjoying beautiful summer days before the mad rush of back-to-school. Our whole family agreed--we can't wait to come back next year. We had planned to spend more time on the beach in Gold Beach--but the weather and surroundings at the cabin were so wonderful we hardly wanted to leave except to raft. The cabin was excellently stocked & immaculate (and I'm picky).

Very Comfortable Cabin

My 2 daughters, 2 grandchildren and a nephew stayed at this cabin for a family reunion. One of my daughters arrived before I did, and called to tell us how impressed she was with the cabin. The cabin was a decent size, everything immacualate and the little touches made it that much more homey. The "extrras" were wonderful; refrigerator full of condiments, cupboards with a wide array of dry good and spices, and besides a coffee pot, there was even an espresso machine! There were light-weight jackets hanging on a coat rack in the living room, extra beech towels...just too much to list. The unfortunate thing was that it was so comfortable, I didn't spend as much time with my family at Kimball Creek as I would have liked (just wanted to stay there and relax). Will definitely recommend this location and cabin for any accasion.

Quiet and Quaint

The cabin was VERY clean and well supplied with the necessities of a vacation home. The lawn was large and great for our children to play in. We saw deer and skunks come up to the windows each night. The river runs quite slow and it felt safe to play next to with small children. It was about a 20 minute drive to the beach each day, but the weather was much better at the cabin! This group of cabins would make a wonderful place to come for a large gathering or family reunion. We would definitely recommend it!

My wife and I really enjoyed this little cabin. The views of the rouge river were great I"d recommened this cabin to anyone who wants a great spot on the river with everything you need to have a great time.

What an amazing vacation we had! The cabin was beautiful, modern and very clean! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and serene setting! The river was breathtaking and so peaceful! My toddler and his cousins loved playing on the river banks and running around the spacious front yard! The city of Gold Beach was adorable and the locals very friendly! We enjoyed some of the local sight seeing such as taking a cruise on the jet river boats, visiting the Red Woods, hiking on the coast and beaches and watching the sun set! We would love to return! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Amazing natural beauty

We had a wonderful experience at the cabin beside the river. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and we loved the deck and fire pit overlooking the Rogue River. Small town charm w/ friendly people. Lots of activities: Jerry's Jet Boat Tour (a must), wildlife viewing, fishing, beach combing for sand dollars, star gazing (if you're up that late).

We stayed here for my sister-in-laws wedding over Labor Day weekend. I can not even begin to describe how much we loved this cabin and the entire Southern Oregon experience. This cabin made you feel like you were staying in someone's home. All the personal touches that you can imagine. We can not wait to go back again next year!!!

Breathtaking Views from a Charming Cabin on Rogue River

My husband, daughter and I stayed at this cabin in early May 2011. The views from this cabin are simply breathtaking. There is an expansive lawn that overlooks the Rogue River; we spent most afternoons soaking up the sun from the deck and watching the eagles and ospreys soar overhead. It was peaceful, quiet and exceeded our every expectation. The cabin is well appointed and cozy. We felt at home right away. We would highly recommend this cabin on the Rogue. We cannot wait to go back!

Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway.
