  Our group of 5 friends were made to feel like royalty during our one week stay in the pristine, palatial Villa Jenny. Anna Maria and company laid out the red carpet in this sumptuous villa overlooking the bay of Naples, just a few steps walk through the enchanting backyard populated with beautiful olive and lemon trees, right next door to Villa Fondi where we enjoyed free evening concerts and wine/food tasting. The view of fireworks from the spacious upper balcony on two evenings simply added to the 'magic castle' atmosphere we experienced. Just a few minutes walk to shopping and dining in Piano di Sorrento, and a 25 euro cab ride for 5 to downtown Sorrento (about 30 minutes walk along the elevated and scenic coast line). We were treated on 3 evenings to delicious home cooking catered by Rosa who is more than happy to share her culinary secrets with anyone interested in watching the transformation of simple, homegrown ingredients into mouth-watering dishes, all for a most reasonable rate of 35 euro per person, wine and after dinner liquors included! For highly informative and entertaining guided tours by private van of the local area, including the Amalfi coast, ask for Francesco (business card available in the Villa) who speaks English very well and knows the area like the back of his hand. Right across the street is an elevator that descends to the tiny picturesque marina and fishing village where free internet and delicious light lunches await. All in all, it is impossible to rate this villa and its charming hosts too highly! We dream of returning some day. Thank you, Anna Maria.

  On September 28, 2012 my husband and I and six friends arrived at Villa Jenny. Anna Maria and her helpers Emma and Rosa were there to greet us and tell us all about the charming 150 year old house. With its spacious rooms, lovely third floor deck, and welcoming garden it was the perfect place to spend our eleven day vacation. The train station is an easy 15 minute walk and from there we traveled to all of the sites we wanted to see. Sorrento is a forty minute walk along the road above the sea, or a five minute train ride. After spending time in the hustle and bustle of Sorrento it was lovely to come home to the quiet town of Piano di Sorrento. We found excellent restaurants a short walk from the villa. Our favorite was Tirimbo on the beach. Anna Maria called us throughout our stay to be sure all of our needs were met and when we needed help reaching a doctor Emma and Rosa were there for us. We will treasure our memories of that magical part of the world.

  A lovely Villa with the most amazing views of the Bay of Naples. We were 6 adults who enjoyed the gardens, the roof top views and two dinners prepared for us by Rosa. We would good back again for it was the best way to see Sorrento and all the areas around. Thank you AnnaMarie for taking good care of us while we were there.

  My parents wanted to rent a place in Italy that would hold my family.....12 people. This villa was perfect. Lots of room, terrific location, clean, wonderful roof top terrace and ground terrace for hanging out. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The bus and train station are just a short walk away. Great for day trips to Capri, Ischia, Almalfi Coast, Positano, Mt. Vesuvius, and Pompeii. The gem of the villa is Rosa. She can't speak a word of English but we had no problem communicating. She was a treat and boy can she cook. We had her cook two meals for us and we throughly enjoyed both of them. If I had to note one negative and it really wouldnt be a reason to not stay here, it would be the mosquitos. A couple of nights we had a problem but if you shut the windows, that eliminates the problem. If you want to experience Italy without the touristee feel, this is the place. The people in the town are so nice and so helpful and very patient. I felt like a townperson my entire stay. We 100% recommend Villa Jenny.

  Our group of 9 (7 adults & 2 children) arrived after a long day of travel to be graciously met by Anna Maria, Emma & Rosa. We received an excellent tour of the house & were given all needed information to make our trip a great success. The house easily accomodated us all - plenty of privacy and also space of accomodate us all as a group. We ranged in age - from 7 to 21, 30 and 48! All were happy to have Villa Jenny as our home for 7 days. Easy to stay in town and just as easy to grab a train or ferry for further exploring. We all dream of returning to the 3rd floor patio to sip wine and enjoy the sun & view. Rosa created a fantastic family meal for us - what a wonderful way to end of stay. Excellent spot to disconnect (no internet service in the house) and enjoy.

  We were 5 couples and enjoyed our stay very much. There was plenty of room for all. We had breakfast on the roof top every morning. Anna Maria was so welcoming. She called us several times to see if we needed anything. Her caretakers, Emma and Rosa were also very helpful. Rosa prepared a fabulous meal for us one night, including her homemade limoncello. Be prepared for lots of walking and bear in mind the hilly terrain of the area. We are all active 60+ and enjoyed the exercise.

  Fabulous place! There were nine of us and Villa Jenny was easily large enough to take us all. The location is spectacular. On hot, sunny days we could spend time in the lush, shady gardens (lemon, plum, orange & olive trees, as well as magnificant umbrella pines) in the afternoons, then on the very large upstairs patio/deck in the evenings. The views from there were incredible, especially the surrounding hills and sunsets over the Bay of Naples. We had no car, and no need for one, as the local train station is only a short walk away (about 15 minutes). One evening we enjoyed a terrific dinner catered by the delightful Rosa. We found super inexpensive (under 2 Euros!) but good wines and groceries at the nearby Dico store on Via della Rosa. There's a great coffee shop with a wonderful cliffside view patio only five minutes away on Via Ripa di Cassano. Also there's a fun restaurant nearby on Via della Rosa. Be sure to walk to Piano's centro area with its main piazza, shopping, banks, gelati and more restaurants. Villa Fondi (Google it) is right next door and provides free concerts on some evenings, and you can enjoy them sitting at the outdoor bar (the mojitos were great). Anna Maria, the owner, is a lovely, gracious lady who called us several times during our stay to ensure all was well with our visit to her family home. We all loved our stay at Villa Jenny in Piano di Sorrento. I cannot recommend it too highly!

  What an absolutely marvelous place to stay. Anna Maria, the owner, is a lovely woman and so proud of her home that she wants you to enjoy it as much as she has. And believe me we did. For a villa in the city, there is a enormous amount of property, garden, with it. The one problem we had with a blown circuit breaker was taken care of immediately by Emma the property manager who is very nice. The 3 bedrooms on the first floor are large and airy. Having 4 bathrooms was definitely a plus since we had 8 people in our group. Rosa, the housekeeper, is delightful even though she doesn't speak English, I still enjoyed trying to talk to her. She also prepared us a fabulous meal one night. It was one of the few times we spent downstairs in the main part of the house because there is a wonderful roof terrace off the second floor which is where we spent most of our time when at the villa enjoying the views of the sea and the surrounding area. Everyone in our group would absolutely stay here again.

  We stayed in this beautiful villa. The home is very comfortable and accommodates large families. The terrace is wonderful with beautiful Mediterranean sunset views. The owner is a jewel and the on-site assistants are very accommodating and available. They did a beautiful dinner for us one evening on request. We did not need a car at this property. We would recommend this villa to friends.

  Five generations lived in this house. I am borned there, my grandmother and my mother too. All the family lived here during the second world war and my children married there to renew with traditions. I hope you will be enchanted by the orange fragrance in the spring time as well as the pinetree in summer. The garden in front of the sea is very refreshing. I will be very happy if you share your impressions with me.
