A Beautiful Escape!

Guest: Ms 26 (Santa Monica, CA)

Great city and mountain views high above Downtown Missoula are great to wake up to each day. Pristine, and a well thought out space, Studio 54 is the perfect place to stay for a night or a week! Love Scotty's downstairs for a glass of wine at the end of a busy day too! Charming and private. Loved my stay here. Thank you Athena for your hospitality!

AWESOME!

Guest: Shelley (Seoul, South Kora)
Date of Stay: 01/26/12 Review Submitted: 01/29/12

We stayed here for 10 days and totally loved it. It's the perfect place for you and your mate to get some R&R...without a car! We walked everywhere, including to the Red Bird Wine Bar, El Cazador, Sapore, The Depot, Bernices Bakery, and even Scotty's Table (which was only a matter of walking down the stairs). And speaking of downstairs, we seriously loved living right on top of the Wilma theater! We wined and dined at the Red Bird, caught a flick at the theater, then simply took the elevator home. Awesome! The apartment itself is small but efficient, and the kitchen especially is well-stocked and functional. You can easily cook for yourself if more restaurant fare doesn't sound good! Enjoying your coffee in the morning is a snap if you'd like to make it yourself, or walk down the street to Break Espresso, Butterfly Herbs, or Liquid Planet to get your fix. The shower was great, the bed divine, and the views spectacular. The next time you're in Missoula, you should stay HERE!

Light and Bright and Beautiful!

Guest: KristineP (Missoula)
Date of Stay: 01/21/12 Review Submitted: 01/27/12

I had such a great stay - it was the perfect place for a nice little weekend getaway, and a really cool place to have a few friends over during the day as well. It's small, but lovely. I definitely appreciated how functional the cute kitchen was, the bed was sublime, and the entire space was just gorgeous with really lovely views over the downtown area. I'll definitely be recommending it to friends and family of mine!

Great central location with a lot of liveliness.

Guest: Daniel (New York, NY)
Date of Stay: 11/10/11 Review Submitted: 11/20/11

I would definitely recommend staying at "studio 54" for anyone looking to be in a well-appointed central location close to the bustle of Missoula. The apartment itself was clean, warm, and comfortably outfitted with everything I expected. The view was great, and food/entertainment options were quickly accessible. Its not the quietest place to stay (heard a lot of noise from shows at the Wilma Theater and renovations in other units) but nothing intolerable. Athena was great to work with and has paid a lot of attention to the details. She really has this nailed down, so expect great communication and all your questions answered.

Owner response:Thank you for your response. I'm glad that you felt my place was clean, warm and comfortably outfitted, that means a lot to me! I hope to see you the next time you come to Missoula.

A great spot dowtown

Guest: Drew (Jackson, WY)
Date of Stay: 10/14/11 Review Submitted: 10/18/11

We loved this studio unit in the Wilma building. The location is ideal for all downtown activities. We parked our car for the weekend and just walked everywhere. The farmer's market is just below the building on Saturday mornings and has tons of great produce and food (you have to try the waffle sandwiches). The unit was equipped with everything we needed and had great views of the city. Getting in to the unit when we arrived was simple and all information was included in the information packet we received from the owner. Any questions we had were answered with a phone call. All in all it was an easy place to rent and stay. I will stay there again the next time I'm in Missoula.

Owner response:I'm so glad that you found the waffle sandwich, they are so yummy and fun! I'm glad everything went smoothly for you too. See you next time!

Wilma Studio 54

Guest: Laura and Steve (Great Falls, MT)
Date of Stay: 10/07/11 Review Submitted: 10/17/11

We had a wonderful long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the 7th of October - the 9th of October 2011. We love to hang out in Missoula and enjoy the shopping and the variety of restaurants available within walking distance. We had the opportunity to enjoy the farmers market and only jumped in our vehicle once to enjoy the apples at Mountain View Orchards in Corvallis. The studio was very pleasant and comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked. Thank you so much for the fun weekend! Laura and Steve

Owner response:I'm so glad you came to the Wilma for your wedding anniversary...I hope to see you for another!

My new husband & I live in Missoula (just a few blocks from the Wilma in fact) & wanted to stay somewhere different than the traditional hotel room for our wedding night (and post wedding recovery). We could not have been happier with the Wilma!! Such a fun, funky space that provided amazing energy & allowed us to relax & decompress after all the crazy wedding festivities!

Owner response:I'm so glad you stay the night after your wedding night too, recovery...yes!

This was an extraordinary place to stay because it was furnished so well and is close to great things in downtown Missoula. Great parking spot and historic building. We were there as part of our honeymoon roadtrip and wished we could have stayed longer! We'll certainly be back.

Wilma Studio54 is the perfect choice for a stay in Missoula---right downtown, on the river, next door to Caras Park and all its events, and the apartment is beautiful, clean, and so comfortable. The owner makes it very easy to arrange and communicate. Transport from the airport is easy, and you can get bikes for free in two locations a few blocks away from the Wilma to tour through town, the University, and the extensive bike trails. We only needed to rent car to travel to Glacier Park for a day. There's so much to do in this active town.

Owner response:Great review...thank you for sharing your travel details, it is very helpful to others. I didn't know you could get free bikes for your stay in TWO locations....nice...I will spread the word too.

Beautiful urban retreat in downtown Missoula exceeded expectations.

Guest: msoretreater (Missoula)

This fantastic studio exceeded my high expectations. It is beautifully apportioned and provides a fantastic view of the city and mountains. I looked forward to returning to the space at the end of each day and felt disappointed when check-out day rolled around. I would recommend this to any close friend or family member; it beats any hotel in town. The location allows walking to any of Missoula's great downtown restaurants, walking trail, or street markets.

Owner response:I'm so glad you had a great time and got to enjoy the Missoula urban lifestyle!

Unique and Cozy Studio in the Heart of Downtown Missoula

Guest: Zach and Kris (Portland, OR)
Date of Stay: 03/18/11 Review Submitted: 04/04/11

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Studio 54. It’s comfortable, stocked with everything you need for a great vacation, and receives a lot of natural light. The views are spectacular, and you can walk everywhere. Athena is accommodating and helpful, providing a personal touch you won’t get at a hotel. We will definitely be back! One point of caution: the Wilma does host concerts, and the two that occurred during our stay were heard and felt in the studio. It’s a bit more noticeable than the everyday sounds emanating from the streets below.

Owner response:Zach and Kris are examples of my favorite guests...light lovers, walkers and folks looking for what they can't get at the chain hotels. The Summer is about to start and the farmers market and the river walk will be the new highlights to staying at the Wilma. You can find out about the concerts at the Wilma at www.thewilma.com if you want to go to one or stay away from one.

Perfect Location for Missoula

Guest: Mrs. B (Denver)
Date of Stay: 09/23/10 Review Submitted: 10/06/10

This apt is great! It is so conveniently located and includes the private parking spot. We were able to walk right out the door to the farmers market in Caras Park, down Higgins to shops and cafes, and even watched the homecoming parade from our window. The renter was very flexible about when to meet and very friendly in walking us through the "how to live here" including the elevator and keys, etc. The apt was very clean and updated with great decor, a full kitchen and nice bathroom. Was not able to hear any noise from the street either - would def stay here again!

Owner response:Thanks! I'm so glad you had a great time and that you made it to the farmers market! Athena

A great home base for a spouse friendly fly fishing trip

We had a wonderful time at the Wilma Loft. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was excellant. The apartment clean and well maintained and the owner cheerful and helpful. The apartment is close to many fine restaurants and "spitting" distance from some great fly fishing. I will definitely be back.

Owner response:Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed the blend of modern/historical that the Wilma has to offer. And that you made it to the fabulous river trail. I hope to see you two again.

We stayed at the Wilma for 2 nights. The location and views were great...adjacent to the river trail, downtown amenities, and UofM campus. The renovated studio was well-appointed and we enjoyed the the historic nature of the the building. The only negative was memorizing the elevator and door lock sequences.

No better place to stay...hands down!!

Guest: L Stevenson (Columbus, Ohio)
Date of Stay: 05/08/10 Review Submitted: 06/30/10

I was lucky enough to find out about the Wilma and Athena's loft during my first trip to Missoula two years ago. I was attending Rocky Mountain School of Photography and looking for a place that would give me more of a feeling of being "home" instead of just a place to sleep. I found the 5th floor studio and, from the description alone, booked it immediately. It had top reviews when I was looking for places and it lived up to (and exceeded) all the expectations I had. When I travel, I gravitate toward places that I feel have character and reflect the personality of where I'm at, and the Wilma offered all of this. It was comfortable, conveniently located, exceptionally maintained and well appointed. In addition, Athena was an outstanding hostess. She genuinely cares about not only your stay in her space, but your experience in Missoula. I highly recommend the Wilma to anyone visiting the area and it will always be my first option when I come back down the road. Thanks Athena!!

What a great place to stay! I had a wonderful time staying at the studio. It was incredibly comfortable, stylish and had everything I needed during my visit. Great views and restaurants are right out the front door. I rented a car for the 9 days I was there and probably only used it two days. Right in the heart of downtown all I needed was only a short walk. The owner was very accommodating and had gone the extra mile to help me find restaurants, shops, and workout facilities. I am already booking my next trip and will definitely be staying at the studio again!

My husband and i spent our 10 year anniversary here, following the advice of a friend. This apartment could not be more perfect; the owner has thought of EVERYTHING from delicious coffee, to special chocolates, to an Apple TV loaded with music and a slide show of the owner's amazing photography. Going down to dinner, i thought "am i really in Missoula, this feels so metropolitan!" I haven't stopped talking about our experience since, Thank You!

This is a delightful, newly remodeled studio apt., with great view of the Missoula foothills. Every amenitiy has been included and the downtown location couldn't be better. For example, just take the elevator down to adjoining Caras Park for the great Out To Lunch Wednesday happenings in summer or the Thurs. evening events, as well.

Owner response:wow - Thanks for adding more B.P. & W.P you are so sweet. Athena
