Lower level has a large entertainment area with a 1/2 bath and a small kitchen.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We started visiting the island 15 years ago on business and fell in love with the quality of people and its peaceful surroundings. We purchased our home in July of 2007 at which time we renovated the home to fit our taste and needs. Coming from Miami, Florida, we enjoy the outdoors and practically "live outdoors".
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our view is what is called a "Bay View" on the island. It is a "wide" canal. We purchased the home due to the open feeling that this view has to offer. Our pool was built to our specifications and is considerably large at 15 x 30 ft. It is heated for all year usage.

We were lucky enough to spend the month of January, 2010 at this beautiful home. Every detail in the house from the decor down to the amenities were well beyond the typical rental- the pictures of the house on the website don't even begin to show the actual beauty. It's obvious that the owners have put lots of TLC in it and that it is their family's summer home. The month of January was one of the coldest on record (just our luck!) and we were so disappointed that we were not able to enjoy the beautiful pool and entertaining area downstairs. However, we still enjoyed looking down on the beautiful pool and canal and were able to sit out and enjoy the sun even if we couldn't get in the water!. Marta was a dream to work with, as well. We were welcomed with a personal phone call from her within an hour of our arrival to see if everything was in order and to see if we needed anything. Perfect home to share with another couple since the lower level is equipped with everything from a big TV, kitchen, pull out sofa, even a wine cooler! I just can't say enough about this lovely property...you won't be diappointed and WE can't wait to return!
